  1. I have 5 big Snowball hydrangea that are each covered with the Black spots. Each of th bushes flower beatifulyy but they all have the spots. Will neem amd need "pebbles" as you show i the dmo save my plant?

  2. ok I have a 6 year old lemon tree I have sown from seed and I had heard that it would benefit from getting outside in the summer months but it was attacked by aphids and other pests but here in Denmark they have to go in the winter if they have to just a chance to survive the winter and since I do not want all my other plants to be infected I just wanted to know what to do. Because if you could remove all the soil and bathe the plant and spray with neem oil I might both and avoid getting all the others infected as i love my plants it would be possible for it to survive it has seen pepper geek do this by his chili plants before bringing them in for the winter to avoid him bringing pests in when he takes plants from outside into the house my question is would the same technique be able to save my lemon tree ??

  3. Glad I found this video! Almost bought ready made neem oil stuff instead of pure neem oil. A lot of whiteflies somehow gathered under my bell pepper leaves 🙁 I hope I'm not too late when I get the deliveries

  4. Your recipe for neem should include drops of clover and rosemary essential oils. The smell of them detracts pests too.
The spray should be applied in early am hours on veggie garden issues so that the stickiness of neem does not cook leaves as it’s absorbed. And doing so in morning means your not spraying bees, lacewings, butterflies, ladybugs, etc. if you have serious issues, then only every couple days until controlled then back to every couple weeks for preventative. Too much will kill plants because it clogs pores of leaves that allow them to breathe.

  5. Hi, is there any way we can salvage the soil invested with root mealy? I only have a balcony, so all of my plants are in pots. It seems a shame to toss the entire pot of soil. Can I drown the soil in diluted neem?

  6. Upgraded my pepper growing operation this year, and bought some neem oil just in case. Over time I had fungus gnats, aphids and spider mites messing with my plants.
A mix of neem oil, organic green soap and water solved just about any infestation in a matter of days.

  7. Thank you! Unfortunately I can only give this video one thumbs up. I already lost a volunteer pumpkin to mildew and it's showing up on my volunteer tomato plants. Gonna get spraying

  8. During high school, we have a lot of Neem Tree planted at the back lot of our school. During experimental research subjects we always use neem leaves as subject. We were able to extract oils, create neem candles, and incense usually as insecticide or pesticide. The tree also looks great on the landscape. We take our lunch under these trees.

  9. Thanks for the information. I used neem oil this summer – on cucumber and squash/pumpkin plants (got information from various YouTube videos – that was not as concise and rational as what you brought forward) – and it didn't do what I wanted and seemed to harm the plants as much as help. I now realize my formula was too strong and I was using it too often. I look forward to better results next summer. I appreciate your measured and flexible outlook on gardening.

  10. It’s my first year gardening, and every single plant has been decimated by either caterpillars or thrips. Pretty devastating, trying to decide if I should keep trying to revive everything or just get a head start on next year, either way I’ll be buying some neem oil today!

  11. After i used neem oil to prevent slugs… the more slugs came to my garden, cuz the humidity stay longer on leaves and i dont know, i have to catch 14 slugs from my 2 m2 garden…

  12. You might wonder but we people from India have been using Neem since ages. Soaps, face wash, shampoo, toothpaste, you name it. Neem is antibacterial, antimalarial and antifungal. Another plant that every Hindu household has is "Basil". Basil is anti microbial too. Basil is also used in almost all body products. We have a saying "If you keep eating neem it will turn sweeter". Which means if you concentrate on a same task everyday it will bring fruitful results. Also, people use small neem branches as toothbrush

  13. My son asked me to repot some lemon tree starts for him. There a little black/brown dots on the under side of some of the leaves which I think are bugs because I can get them off and in a couple of days I will see a few more. I researched and found your video. I will spray the plants before transplanting them into a larger pot. I may have missed it in your video, but I was wondering how often I should spray the plants? Your videos are wonderful and chocked full of information. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge with us.
