OSU is a great school for all things gardening. The extension center does great free gardening programs and such as well. I'm glad you're welcoming Oregon into your home! I'm a duck (UofO), through and through, but OSU definitely has amazing learnings as well. So happy to hear about your dad!

I am so glad to hear that your Dad is cancer free. This is not a critic, but I would think Habitat for Humanity would sell at market value so they can use the money for their charitable needs? Help my thinking on this.
Amen on being cancer free!! I got my clean scan results last month, so we are cancer free together!!!! My cancer journey has shown me just how important my community is to me and me to them. It is so exciting to be cancer free!

I bless everyday that I still have both my parents to speak to. My dad beat colon cancer TWICE and is now 94. My mom has congestive heart failure, but is doing fine at 90!
My daughter just lost her father (we divorced when she was seven) this last Sunday due to heart failure from the effects of COPD, after beating COVID and doing so much better. It was a bit of a shock.
I know you are counting your blessings. You have all our prayers for the continued health of your entire family.
Thank you for all you contribute to our lives and livelihood.
