  1. I love Japanese maple, I prune mine with a central trunk it’s at 15 feet at the moment with a natural leafy top beautiful when the colours change, also the hydreangea if you pick the flower heads when they die off it will flower the next year in principle I lost 1 of mine as I didn’t dead head it, it’s looking lovely xx

  2. Now you can add perennials by height and really make it look amazing. I would suggest some sort of creeping phlox or creeping thyme, it will stay very low to the ground, come back every year and spread like crazy. plus the colors would look beautiful.

  3. If you lay the weed barrier first and put the preen woodchips down they work better trees planted by squirrel will still come up unfortunately but doing those two things together work pretty good

  4. Great job on the front gardens. Good that you found thomas to help you, plus having your Dad to help too. Mark you did an amazing job. Hi Mom hope your shoulder gets better soon. Becky, you're amazing, you remind me of me 30 years ago when I had the back and energy for all that gardening. Boy do I miss it. Love watching your videos because they remind me of all the fun I had doing the same stuff years ago. Boy Do I miss my gardens, my canning days and being in the kitchen doing all that cooking. Best of luck to you.
