The grand opening of our farmstand is finally here after 2 months of working on the roadside stand! We have it filled to the brim with fresh cut flower bouquets and delicious vegetables. But will we sell anything? Will the market stand be a success for us? Or will we spend the weekend working towards achieving our sales goals for our farm business only to fail? Find out how much we sell our first few days, and if this farm sells everything!

I think the way you had it before, with all of your produce and flowers out for everyone to see, was much more of a draw. People are hesitant to stop when they can't see what's for sale. Hopefully, you can build up a clientele, based on your good reputation.
Good luck to you both!!! What about some bright colored balloons and a signboard listing what you have inside (ie: tomatoes, cucumbers, zuchinni, kale and flowers etc) and a tent seems to always attract people. Maybe putting containers with your bright colored zinnias in them to attract more attention. Bright cheerful colors always attract people. Wishing you lots of success!!
Here's hoping your stand will be a real success soon.
The Dance Party at 10:23 is adorable!!

Use red paint for your sign not blue…. it's more eye catching and drivers can read it from further away. Use the door inside surface for this so it would be less things to move around…. you have to open the door anyway so use it more efficiently. Also use a portion of the wall as a chalk wall and write the prices and products on the door for easy reading along with your contact info. Have your flowers on a external stand with a red shade cover above. Pai t the top of the side of the shed stand with 'farm shop' and also the side of the front. Put a road sign further away to give drivers more time to pull over. Buy or build a coin box and screw it to the wall or shelf. On the flower bench outside use the same market stand cover cloth to tie in your market stall stand and your farm shop stand.
Paint the advertisement bigger
Maybe put a table with dry flowers outside and some pumpkins
Maybe think about adding some planter boxes next to your fence and plant some tulips and daffodils for spring blooms and some bright colored flowers and sunflowers for the summer to add some bright colors to attract people driving by.
Proud of you guys.
I'd put a box with a slit under that top counter and cut out from top you can screw it in and they can drop funds inside.
Out of business in a month
I love to watch your channel. For more vegetable sales, maybe bundle veg some “kits” together for grab and go…like stir fry, chicken soup, vegetable soup, beef stew items, sheet pan dinner or roasted veg items, gourmet salad or whatever else you think would be easy to put together. Different options every few days depending on your harvest. Best wishes on selling more vegetables.
What about pretty colorful fake fruits and veggies outside!!! Hopefully that will help me too!
I don’t believe a word, I don’t believe you can make money with this . This is not how you make money maybe just barely surviving but not even that . Selling flowers and veggies , really ?
All these youtube channels of gardeners for profit is fake . It is NOT making money . This is the recipes for poverty. Gardening is hobby and that’s it .
Plus the shed idea is a bad idea …too small to be seen .Put some exquisite landscape pieces to attract eyes, a blue painted door does nothing.
Paying 7 yrs for that shed I hope it was a joke .
The farm stand looks great. So happy for you guys! That is quite an accomplishment. There are some good suggestions in the comments and I am sure you have many more good ideas too. How great that you have built such a wonderful, supportive community – over 100k subscribers! – to share their suggestions. Wishing you great success and all the best from California. 🙂
Paint the door RED and people will stop. We as a family love watching your videos. Thank you for sharing your journey with us
How about a couple signs before your property, allowing someone to slow down, or pull over. You have so many beautiful products. Good luck to your beautiful family
The colors you chose are amazing. Sprucing up the frontal road will really help your business.
Are you allowed to add a shutter in front of your front yard stand that you can pull out and push back at night? It will help to cool down the shop. I love the new addition to your business. You two are awesome, love your channel.
Your stand is beautiful and i would feel very lucky if i lived near a place like this !
Shouldn't you make your produce more "visible" with a window or a hinged panel that can lift up so people can see the goods. Just a suggestion.
How about canning some stuff? Salsa, verdi, chow-chow, tomato sauce, pickles…dunno could work.
