You are such an energizer bunny! That is truly impressive! Nicely done 😀
Looks really great! I would like to make a suggestion. Please label your jars/containers with contents and expiration dates. I know that you can tell what things are by looking at them, but if someone else had to do it, they would not know what a lot of the things are. If something happened to you, you would not want all that food to go to waste because it can’t be identified (not being morbid but things do happen. BTW, I am an ER/ICU nurse so death is not a foreign concept to me and I believe in preparing for it and talking about it).
i last went into a supermarket on 07/12/2019 for 13 tubes of vegan toothpaste which i donated to others i have a supermarket/shop free life i love
lose less favorite preserved food in soup you cannot taste it as much
a little hint that i learned over the years is "touch it once" so if i have it in my hands i put it where it belongs right away. or deal with it immediately
You can leave some rings on the jars, loosely. I hang my rings in net laundry bags.
Can I ask what temperature your food storage room is, Becky? Fabulous video, my total idea of a fun time!
I love your videos! I live with my Fiancé in a small rented house in England and its my dream one day to have a kitchen and pantry like yours! Thank you for putting yourself out there and creating informative, relaxing and fun videos
You spilt dirt and said you would clear it up tonight…you really need to clear it up at the time
I can say this because you sort you cupboards the same way I do….everything everywhere lol
Make tinsel strands with your rings. Just thread onto a rope and hang them up!
Your idea of a Friday night party is the same as mine! Love it
Four seconds in, and I already have coffee up my nose. Thanks for being you Becky 😀
Lovely video, thank you so much for sharing all of this with us. You have quickly become my favourite channel!
Is it possible with your cabbage surplus to swap with another homestead that doesn't have cabbage canned yet or even growing it yet (Facebook groups and post or/and marketplace). Aim for swapping for something you don't have
Great video! Do you have an old broom handle or something? YOu can string your rings onto it and keep them tidy and out of the way like that – and it saves you a box. 🙂
Just started watching Your video… more than less Seems like You've been Lazy/Lagging !!!
I saved mesh bags from oranges and put my rings into those. I hung them on the end of my shelves like you have your garlic hanging.
Great video, thank you for the inspiration! I'd like to add please use your local libraries! There is SO MUCH FREE ACCESS to materials and public libraries are really underutilized. I think people forget about us!
Tupperware, the real Tupperware modular mate containers are air tight. And you can organise your whole pantry that way as well. Don’t forget to label thing so you know what’s in them. Everything is looking fabulous
Is there nothing more gratifying than having a project done and things organized!? Everything looks great!
Another great video to inspire us! Can anyone share if they have used pectin after the expiration date? I have a supply that I hate to throw away but I am afraid to use.
I have loved the pile of rings on ribbons that people hang on the edge of their shelves but I think it would be hard to handle to get them back off. If I dropped one end and they ended up all on the floor then I would be done with that system immediately. I have seen people pile them on something like toilet paper holder made with dowel which would make it easy to carry to where you need it but probably take up a lot f room. Good luck but I love the look now of everything in its place.
