Becky! I just wanted to say that I'm so glad to have found your channel! I'm learning so much and I already do many of your tips and tricks that you have shared. I'm really enjoying all of your content and I strive to live in a very similar way.
Questions: do you save your bacon grease when you make all your big batches of bacon? If so, what do you use it for? (I'm sorry if you have already covered this and I missed it)
Also who do you cook for? Is it just you and your husband? You make such big portions, do you often have guests?
I looked for the butcher block link but didn't see it.
Thank you for all the info. This will help alot.
I was watching various garden videos when I came across one on growing sweet potatoes. The channel is self sufficient me and I have gotten some very good tips from this channel that work for me even though I live in Maine and he's in Australia. I thought I would pass this along in case you wanted to watch it, it's called 5 tips to growing sweet potatoes. Love your channel
BECKY!!!! HELP….do you use previously frozen chicken when you marinate it and then freeze again. I know this isn't on the subject, but i gotta KNOW before I re-freeze this Balsamic Chicken in marinade I got from you on the 22 freezer meal video. My chicken thighs were frozen, defrosted in fridge overnight and then I put the marinade on them and put them in freezer….SHOULD I COOK THEM FIRST?????? Sorry, just got a little freaked out that I was re=freezing raw meat twice. Thank you and thank you for ALL your videos, they are GREAT!
I pulled them out and will cook and then freeze…ugh. Just to be safe
How do I email you? The link doesn’t seem to be working.
Hi Becky, I got an e-mail about being a winner. I just saw it. Am I to late? I didn't understand how I was supposed to contact you. I am not great on the computer. Thanks
Good advises ! I hate things that i can use once in the Year!
I have a 5 qt Staub pot and love it. My mother bought it for herself but never used it. By the time she retired she couldn’t lift it so she gifted it to me. It is sooooo nice!!!! I have the same Lodge pot and agree w you. They aren’t cheap either.
I hate to put my plastic cutting board in the dishwasher. It gets so hot it warps them. I turned it down but I haven't gotten up the nerve to put them back in it. I am addicted to my cookie dough scoops. Scoops make them nice and even so they all cook at the same time. Good quality tools makes the job so much easier.
In a way I am surprised you don't collect cookbooks with all you do but, I can understand if reading is hard or unenjoyable for you. My mom has trouble with the spaces in words so if she can get away from reading she will. She sews and sometimes with new patterns she has to rip out, read and redo. Drives her crazy.
Use your scoops for meatballs, and anything that you stuff like ravioli or dumplings too!
When I'm buying something that I know I will use all thetime, I always think of my dad's favorite saying, "Buy the best and only cry once.".
I love your henna!! Thank you for being so down to earth and real! Your doing an awesome job with your channel!
Awesome video.
Im not a great reader or speller either,
I use my scoop for meatballsi and the planner for ginger. I don't peal it neither.
I so agree with all your choices. I have knifes that I have had thirty years, cast iron pieces up to 100 years old. My greatest pride and joy is my kitchen aid 600 pro my hubby bought me for my 50th and that has been used daily or close to it well over 12 years. So great video Becky
Hi, I can't respond to your reply to my comment notifying me that I've won December's prize. I don't use social media or have apps on my phone. When I clicked on the whatsapponly next to your photo it said you had no subscribers.
I just love you and your channel and content!!
Becky, they’re at it again. They’re commenting on peoples comments, jerks
Becky I just got a message saying I won something on your Cooking Made Easier video. With a phone number to text. Was that you or Fraud ?
Awww this would've been a good help a couple days ago, but rather late than never! Thank you!
I bought a few things from your recommendation Becky. Can’t wait to get them!!! Xoxoxo
What do you use to sharpen your knives?
cookie scoops = MEATBALL SCOOPS!!! YAY!!!
