  1. This. Snowballs cookies weren’t badly burnt. Instead of using a knife to trim the “well done cookies” Use a grater on them. Much faster and risk of accidentally braking them. Give it a try

  2. I also use salted butter. If I need to adjust the salt, I do it. It’s not that hard… my grandmother had a saying: “The hurrier I go, the behinder I get”. Don’t rush so much.

  3. I Always, always do a float test on all eggs I'm about to cook. I fill a mixing bowl, plastic container or even a large cup if only using 1 or 2 eggs with enough water to completely cover the eggs by at least a inch or 2. If the egg sits on the bottom, it's good. If it floats on top it's bad. If it is somewhere in between it's questionable and if I have extra I'll use another.

  4. Goodies look wonderful!!! Bet they taste that way too! You're such an inspiration!!!! Merry Christmas to you and your family, Becky. Thank you for blessing us!!!!

  5. I love that you show the good and the bad in your videos! It makes me feel like I'm not the only one that does that. I REALLY wanted to make homemade cookies this year, but have found I just wont have the time. So I did buy the premade ones. What are your thoughts on pre making cookies and putting the in the freezer; or mixing the dry ingredients in jar? My husband loves dessert, so this would be a time saver throughout the year too.

  6. Timer, timer, timer!! I can never trust myself to remember timing. Baking is so much less forgiving than cooking. The recipes look delicious. Those you gift are VERY lucky folks.

  7. Hey Becky, This might not be the case, this time, with your egg but I do have some info for you. Sometimes, canola meal or crushed flax seed is added to standard egg layer rations. This can cause smelly, fishy eggs – usually it affects brown laying chickens more than other breeds. It also happens to my duck eggs in the winter. There is nothing at all wrong with the eggs, they are safe to bake with and the smell is gone by the time the baking process is over. If you find it happening more often, check your feed.

  8. Thank you for the cookie video. I can't wait to see the candies video. I am a chocoholic. I have a question about your stove. May I ask what brand and where did you purchase it from? I want to update my oven at home, but I want one with 2 ovens, Not 1 oven and a storage drawer that I never use. Please and Thank you in advance. Happy Holidays to you and your family. Debra
