GROWING TIPS:
#Plant the strawberry plants, so their crowns (the place where the stem meets the roots) are just above the soil surface.
#Make hole according to the size of the root ball and put the root ball into the hole and cover the roots up to the crown with the potting mix
#Set the pot in a location that receives at least 5-7 hours of sun each day to ensure plenty of flowers and fruits
#If the sunlight is coming from only one direction, rotate the container every three to four days if possible for the plants to grow evenly.
#Water your strawberries whenever the soil feels dry about 1 inch below the surface, or about twice per week.
#To provide the best environment for fruits to form make sure the soil remains slightly moist—not dry or soggy
#Usually, the berries will be ready to harvest about 4-6 weeks after the plant blossoms.
#Strawberry plants need a lot of water when the flowers are developing. Water adequately, Moisture is incredibly important to strawberries due to their shallow roots.
#During the season, harvest will last up to 8-12 weeks. You should have an abundance of berries, depending on the variety.

  1. Once you produce a harvest, how many years will strawberries come back? I am at a new house and the previous owner had them planted. It was a very fruitful harvest last summer Just curious how many years k should expect it to produce?
