  1. Salad scraps are great but you gotta watch out for that lettuce that lettuce if too much will give Em diarrhea just something to think about past experience Great video is always out keep up the good work

  2. Friends of ours get a lot of deer each year, what with extended family and all. They have a large flock of chickens, and give the carcasses to tbe chickens to pick clean, and the trimmings from butchering. When it's cold enough out, like it's been this year ( here in NW WI ), they just leave it all in bins outside of the coop, which is in their old dairy barn, and can ration it out. I also had beef tallow/suet in our freezer from last year that I hadn't needed all ( for making venison burger. We trim off all noticable venison fat, from whence comes most of the gamey flavor, and add im beef suet when grinding ). Last years suet, my husband pointed out to me, would be rancid or soon be, so, I got fresh ( frozen tho ) from a from local, 100 % grass-fed beef producer on hand for this years grind, and gave the extra from last year to my friend's chickens after they were done with all that other stuff. They've been laying well, even in the cold, so, I bet it's helping ! I also often take over my kitchen scraps, and definitely stored squash that's going bad.
