  1. Beautiful! Oh how I miss calving season (from my ex-life). Maybe God will bless me with a future season of calving in the future. For now, I’ll share in your happiness and bliss! So very happy you got to experience this, yet another one of your dreams come true!!!

  2. I had to do the same thing with the colt I bred, my mare picked the coldest and wettest night of the month. Pretty close to freezing, which isn't terribly common for our area of Southern California. And she's a prey animal, they MUST be able to run quickly, human babies have their villages protecting them.

  3. Congrats to you all!! Happy Birthday Hallelujah! Loved following along with you and Jeremiah and I learned so much. I will never have a cow of my own but it was awesome to see the birth and first feeding. Beautiful…..

  4. Hi, I recently moved to Arkansas and found your channel when looking for local gardening tips. Helen and Hallelujah are adorable. Is that a Maple Leaf Stitches hat you're wearing? Whether it is or not it's a cute hat. I just happen to love my Maple Leaf Stitches hat and was happy to think of you also having one. I got mine at the Christmas celebration in Gainesville this year.

  5. I haven’t even finished the first 2 minutes of this video and I’m already welling up with tears lol! I know this already happened and everything turned out well, but truly…congratulations jess! First birth on the farm! ❤️

  6. My youngest son is named Toby.
My youngest daughter's name is Halle. I often call her Hallelujah & when she was little I would sing, 'Clap your hands & sing to the Lord. Hallelu Hallelu Hallelujah.
My babies are grown & having babies, so now we have a very small homestead.
And I literally named my first female goat Wynonna!

  7. Jess, thanks for sharing amazing moments like this one with us! We don't have livestock, but we live on a massive ranch surrounded by other people's cows. (The homeowners allow open grazing on our properties.) I can't wait to show my boys this video! We are such animal lovers! Rejoicing with you all!

  8. Yay! Gender reveal party for Noah's baby! It'll be a girl? Wow, that's wonderful. Both Noah and Jeremiah were hoping for a girl. They got their wish! I only had boys, three of them. Helen's going to calf! Wow, that was great! Helen did such a good job! You guys did a great job making sure the calf nursed and gave Helen molasses water. So her name is Hallelujah! Wonderful name! I like the nick name of Halley! Wonderful outcome on your new baby girl calf. Thanks for this Jess and Jeremiah!

  9. Pay attention to Helen. Shes smart. She was telling you something she wanted at the end …she wanted to go out in the sun with her baby. Animals are boosted with direct sunshine with VITAMIN D TOO., they are mammels as well as we are.
Just read her more…shes trying to get your attention
    she is communicating
