I am thankful for my food stores every day. I add to my supply constantly and replace what I use often. During the icy winter days when everyone wipes out the shelves, I can sit back and relax, knowing I have plenty for myself and my family. I worry so much for those who shop day to day for their groceries. Lord help them all. Keep spreading the word!

Im finding dates close to expiration so if I go to stock up on a bunch of something, I question if I'll use it in time depending on how far past the date I could go
Interesting fact about the fertilizer price increase, along with insecticides. I had heard it before, but with hearing it again and knowing "Dr" Gates has purchased around 250,000 acres of U.S. farmland, there has to be a connection. Perhaps the Grapes of Wrath, working for the Boss and shopping at the company store with corporate chits is coming around again.

I've known true hunger and homelessness as a small child because of neglect. My boys won't ever go through that if I can help it. We don't really like spam, but we will happily eat it if it comes down to it. Yes, we have some and I'm planning on making some fried rice with it as a practice run. I have a garden and chickens, and I'm learning how to preserve my harvests. I'm sure I have holes in my preparedness, but I'm going to keep trying to fill those holes.

Yes! Canned greens. Don't forget baby food. Cheap complete nutrition. If you have a dehydrator, make them into fruit leathers and roll them in plastic wrap. They last forever.
As a long time gardener and I'm sure all the gardener's would agree. People who believe you can survive on a garden alone are misguided. I well know a sudden summer hail storm can wipe out your garden. Then what it's too late to restart only option get ready for your fall winter garden. Gardening is fine but you need to do more. Please stock your pantry.

I've been stocking up for many years. Had a garden 4 years now & last year was not so good; so it can happen. I'm on my last jars of tomatoes & salsa so hopeful this year will be better. On a side note I use a PH tester when I open my tomatoes to make sure they are safe to eat. No one wants to get sick from canning mistakes. My husband hunts & we process our own deer for additional meat. I do dehyrdate many things as well as vaccum sealing. Thanks for your channel people need to hear this. My Mother & Grandmother taught me a lot about preparing for the future & I am grateful for the knowledge. I'm still learning everday & plan to continue.
Just picked up 5cans of chicken and corn and potatoes went through looked at ex dates and used or gave them to my kid. We are now making a plan if shit hits the fan we must stick together
Treet was on sale, so I bought that. Also, Great Value condensed tomato soup in the regular size is .58, and I promise it tastes the same as Campbell's. I am using 90 percent Great Value brands now and wish I had started sooner.
Spam is king! I have about a kazillion tons of spam in my preps. Spam is the essence of life! I occasionally buy the dollar store knock-off known as "luncheon loaf". Its like the discount awesomest canned meat ever! Anyone who mocks or belittles spam or its alternatives, should be flogged severely. Spam rules!!!! I subbed because you, Patara, apparently appreciate the gloriousness of Spam. Respect!

During the first 4 months of the shutdown, there were NO eggs available in the grocery store. My 2 little hens keep my family a friends family and a elderly neighbor in eggs until the stores had them back in stock.
