We have two Anatolian LGDs and they are awesome dogs. We used to have problems with mountain lions getting our sheep/goats, but since we got our LGDs we've not had problems. Raph is so adorable! He's lucky to find a home with you! <3
Raphael of Raf for short. Very cute puppy. So sad that the mother dog got killed in a tragic way. It's good that the boys are spending a lot of time with him. No dog should be like Chuck Norris was! That is a horror story! I like the cool windows you have. I like the framing of your window greenhouse! I love the fountain you have in the back of the truck. Flagstones and moss here we come!
Thanks for showing us your garlic and onions! They look amazing!
I change my mind about my garden layout all the time. One of my dogs is an Anatolian Shepherd.
Play with his food while RAF is eating.
Jalousie windows Ja luh see. I know whatever, but I thought you might like to know. Good luck with the new pup I'm glad Gabe has company.
A very nice puppy!
How large will Raf grow?
Thank you for translating to Celsius for this Canadian! Your warm weather is inspiring!
Wow I am so lucky that my dog does none of the mischief that a lot of dogs do.
I love your love of gardening. It is inspiring and makes me so happy when I watch. I think we are besties that never met. lol I am not a stalker!! lol I am so ready to start my seeds!! Next week! woohoo
We used to say that some animals can't deal with prosperity!
Awwww. Love the new editions. Rafa and the fountain.
The pandemic came and taught everyone the importance of having multiple stream of income, unfortunately having a nice paying job doesn't mean you are financial secured anymore. So we all need to put in an etra-income earning chance, like investment.
Oh how awesome! We have a Pyrenees/Anatolian puppy as well! His name is Archer and he’s the greatest! 12 weeks old and weighs 28 lbs. He’ll be our LGD as well when he’s older.
Checked out and subscribed to website just now. It is beautiful. Well done
My best friend and animal companion for the last 16 years is named Gabriel, as well. <3
Jess fly by the seat of your pants all you want. I'm enjoying the ride with you. Love the new puppy.
Love the new pup, Raff. He's cute as a button and the other dogs seem to have already accepted him and they're getting along just fine.
Not just coyotes. Don't forget about the bobcats and foxes. I live in a medium-sized town and they come here as well.
I absolutely love the idea of naming your livestock guardian dogs after angels. After all, they're our guardians.
I did want to alert you, because I think this is your first spring in SC, the Saluda/Newberry area gets a lot of severe weather, much more than my area, which is south of you, including tornadoes. In fact, you guys might consider building a tornado shelter at your farm. I'm not trying to scare you. I just know it's happened several times before.
U will love watching ir kods play baseball!!
This my first year in basket ball and so worth it was nice watching
I live in Elko Nevada and we had a Pyrenees dog Butch. He was amazing and kept our Children and the neighbors children safe. He was the reason we did not lose our Chickens to coyotes. I enjoy watching your guard dogs. Thanks for sharing.
Out west we call those windows Louvered Windows. They were really popular in the '70s until everyone found out how easy it was e to break into a house if you had those!
Could you touch on succession planting? I have raised beds and plan to companion plant but get stuck with what to do once one plant is done producing mid season. Do I plant something different? Should I start new seedlings every few weeks and just keep planting the same thing throughout the season? Do I need to amend between succession planting? If I don’t plant the same thing there, and I’m companion planting, how do I pick what goes in its place? (Example – planting squash early to beat the squash bugs – when it’s done producing, what do I do next to not have an empty space in my garden beds)
Thanks so much! Love your videos and you give so much inspiration!
