  1. Hi from Arizona my daughter and I were at costco last weekend and there were more people then usual some were buying quite a bit . Sad to say theres many in my own family with kids that think its not necessary to prep.

  2. We were in Sam's CLub on Friday afternoon and all seemed calm. They had very little rice and only 1 knd of pasta, but there seemed to be plenty on the shelves. On Wednesday, I went to Walmart and there were plenty of supplies on the shelves. Plny of canned meat on the shelves. They had pasta for 82 cents per pound and pasta sauce for 88 cents per jar. Most cat food in stock I've seen in 18 months. No signs of panic.

  3. Macdonald shut, golden chicken shut empty shelves no fresh produce at all. We have also had catastrophic floods in our state. So we basically have to wait for the produce to grow again. Haven't got my Autumn garden in yet. Today a heatwave. Qld Aus

  4. Being a Good Team doesn't mean you do everything together. Sometimes, we need to go in opposite directions to get the work done quicker. Patara, I think you and James are equally yoked, which makes you a match made in heaven. God bless you for this message. I hear you and I completely agree. Now is the time to stock up for our future.

  5. Been following you for a month now. I'm your southern Kentucky neighbor. For the first time ever, I was unable to log on to Kroger last night to place a pickup order. Doing a little at a time. Rural King?? Hubby and I absolutely love that store!

  6. Upsate Ny here. Walmarts have low stock and empty shelves, but all the other stores are well stocked. I haven't seen any thing out of the ordinary here. Prices are going up extremely fast though. The potatoes I bought at Aldi went up $2 in just a few weeks. Gas went up 30 cents in 2-3 days.

  7. According to neighbors, it was packed at the Costco here on Tuesday. There was a normal crowd yesterday – only three folks ahead of me in line. Gas station line was longer than I’ve ever seen it. During the first couple of days of the month stores do seem to be a bit more busy.

  8. I live in Central Maine, the shelves are empty a lot! No cat/dog canned food, it is hard for the employees to restock, our stores are crazy busy also. Great video!!!!

  9. Prices are way up (seen SPAM at over $20/5 at Sams), and also am starting to see some items very low like bread (of all things?) and some canned goods, but the biggest surprise is seeing a lot more people in there getting a little here and there without trying to attract any attention-while getting the stereotypical panic stuff like toilet paper, dried goods that aren't very shelf stable like ramen, and water. Meanwhile, I'm over here making sure to not pull up the dandelions this year while securing B and C options for clean water…

  10. i live in western NY between the peace bridge and rainbow on the us side 15 m from each…. the beginning of the month is tough here and when the bridge is open the Canadians come over then too. even now there are more shoppers and less product. i try and not shop till the second week after people are out of snap benefits. im not Bading snap. i am just explaining.

  11. It's that way at our local stores too. Not just Costco but Kroger and Meijer as well! Wall to wall people. Not as bad as the shut downs of 2020, but it's going to and I fear it will be soon

  12. I live in New Zealand and here at the moment prices in the stores are going nuts. The two largest chains are saying some telling things on their advertising, Countdown is saying "if you can`t find your usual, try something new" and Pak'n'Save are saying "Don`t get any more than you need". It is starting to look bad. Today my eldest son phoned, he said he had just been at the Countdown and cauliflowers are $15 each, they where $5.99 last week. We are blessed with 10 acres and just had a steer butchered this week. The house cow is in full milk 13-15 litres a day, pigs, sheep and cattle doing good and we are getting rabbits soon.
Patara you have been very inspirational to me and I love your down to earth approach to life and challenges you face. We will all get though this with the help of our Lord and saviour Jesus. God bless you and keep you.

  13. I do think some people are beginning to start stocking up which is causing it to be busier. Also combined with gas prices going up, people are wanting to get stuff before prices go up.

  14. I’ve started making my picky cat finish the can food I give her before I give her the next round. I do keep kibble for her

  15. I live in a small town in Washington. Food and gas prices are going up. Like so many others I'm amazed at how many people are at the stores. Most seem to be doing normal shopping but my husband and I feel God is leading us to be more intentional at putting supplies by as we feel great need is around the corner. There have been bare spots on the shelves and not as many choices on some things as usual but overall our stores locally are still fairing ok. I regularly ask God to guide us to make wise choices with our purchases and how to process and store it as He alone truly knows our needs for today and the future.
