Hey ya’ll, I’m Jess from Roots & Refuge Farm
Welcome to a place that feels like home. A small farm with a big family. We hope you’ll pull up a chair, grab some coffee and visit awhile.
There was a time that all I wanted in the world was a little farm where I could raise my family and grow our food. Now, that is exactly what exists outside my door. In watching it unfold, a new dream was formed in my heart – to share this beautiful life with others and teach them the lessons we’ve learned along the way. Welcome to our journey, friend. I am so glad you’re here.

Yes geek out you inspire me. I've pulled stuff out of my spices & am trying to start the seeds I'm excited
You and Miah have done such a beautiful job on your farm, I wishI lived close by I would love to help, or just watch all the goings on. Love your farm, it is so lovely ❤️
The baby goats are adorable. Congratulations !
Of course we want to know all of the varieties!
You geek out all you want on your tour…so jealous of all your plants! They are all so beautiful ❤️❤️ So excited for my greenhouse for next season.
How about ice cream? My mom use to freeze milk. Whipping cream for coffee, hot chocolate?
Are you going to sell produce?
Yes, totally geek out , tell us everything . I am a garden geek too . Many years ago I made more money selling excess vegetables and fruits for $5 for a paper sack full than I did at my full time job for a summer . It was pot luck what you got but people loved that and they were fresh , organic and so good.
I wish you were closer to me because I love whole milk and would gladly pay to take some off your hands .
Keep up the good work . You have all done such an amazing job already . I look forward to the future of Roots and Refuge Farm .
Pleeeeeeeese geek out… Us fellow garden geeks need to see.
Thank you Jess for another lovely visit to your farm. Can't get enough of those adorable babies.
I’ve never met someone who knows what a ground cherry is. Many new gardeners only know the very basics, so an in depth of the varieties is valuable.
Nice….cute babies ….greenhouse going to be full
❤️ if there is a craft soap maker near you, sell the goat milk to her or them.
Everything is so beautiful and the new babies, congratulations and God bless
Yes! Geek out! We're here for it!
Such a beautiful space love your greenhouse potting shed
Please geek out and say everything you have
yes yes geek out.. each variety and what you expect from them…please!
Yes! Hour + video on the varieties!
I can't imagine having to figure out what to do with all of that milk on an ongoing basis. I would be more the one dairy cow and a few goats to fill in the dry times.
You seem so relaxed and happy now that you have new life happening all around you.
