  1. QUESTION! My seedings keep getting stagnant in growth after they become sprouts. Other then my beans. Lettuce, kale, cabbage, tomatoes etc. Did you run into this problem and what did you do wrong if you did??

  2. Thanks for the timely video. How do you deal with highly variable weather (both in temperature and cloud cover or lack thereof) while you are trying to harden off seedlings? The worst sunscald I've seen has been on just one or two unexpectedly intensely sunny parts of days after my plants had spent a fair bit of time outside.

  3. Thank you for the video. I saw in a previous video that you use happy frog for seed starting. Is it normal for it to get some white on top from some of the included mycorrhizae? I have only bottom watered, poured out excess and let the top start to begin to dry out a bit before watering again but still all the trays have a bit of the white growth on top. Thanks again for the knowledge.

  4. Hope you and yours had a wonderful off season and glad to see you and Tuck back.
Am I correctly getting the impression that you don’t feed Tuck on commercial dog food? I hope I am correct because it’s been proven that commercial dog food is so adulterated that the life spans of dogs fed commercial food have been reduced by half and they are coming down with human diseases (like cancer) at horrific rates. LONG LIVE KING TUCK!

  5. Cool….! Thaks a lot James ..Greetings from Long Branch,NJ Im getting ready to get my garden full …my tomatoes still small and the peppers I will re pot them tomorrow and I been getting them in and out to the real sun for a little bit at the time I think they will be ok …..its a lot of work if you in the 3rd floor hahahahaaha but I like it …….Thanks for sharing keep it up …..!

  6. I think this year is a bit different in NJ right ……like a couple of weeks ahead ….but its scary because things change fast …..Im exited for the season ……! keep the videos on ……Im watching them over and over …greetings from Long Branch. NJ…….!

  7. We love Tuck! James is not too bad either….(HA!, HA!) Thanks for all your detailed information for peeps like us, sort of rusty, old time, gardeners. With all the dreaded forecasts of food shortages to come, NOW is really an important time to learn all we can from Tuck & James too. Is Tuck a Yorkie or a Sheltie? He's certainly well built and obviously loves the garden harvests. It's so much fun to watch him steal a little taste or two, so cute! Keep the videos coming, always great info.

  8. ❤❤❤❤❤ I love seeing Tuck helping in the garden. He loves his veggies. James could you tell me what I am doing wrong I for some reason only have male blooms on everything. Last year I had about 8 tomato plants and NO tomatoes. I had No squash, NO watermelons. The only thing I had was very little bit of Okra, very little. I had very little bit of beans, not enough for a meal. I didn't even have any bell peppers. I even planted potatoes and I got NOTHING. Well this year I have the most beautiful plants inside under a grow light. I have planted outside too, but I just wanted to see if I could do better inside. Already I have a tomato plant that is 4 feet tall with NO flowers. I have potato plants up about 6 inches and so dark green. I have tomatillos Purple and green that are about 2 feet tall and already flowing but NO fruit. I have squash with male only flowers. I also have the most beautiful bell pepper plants I have ever grown and they are staring to flower. I'm not sure yet if I will have peppers. Oh and I also have planted inside some carrots that are growing great so far. What should I do to get female flowers? HELP ME PLEASE.
