  1. I have asparagus roots that I have had for a couple of years and just haven't gotten around to getting them in the ground. Are they still good? And do I plant them as a root crop or an above-ground crop?

  2. Hey dude you are so cool I like your garden. Some constructive critics: watch out for some of these leafy vegetables like Swiss chard and such they going to be huge, the leaf can be as big as 3 ft and the whole Bush might be same 36-48 inch diameter, I have a few Swiss chard bush and check this out they become perennial. Their branches touch the ground and they shoot some roots into the soil and you can transplant those little new shoots, once you buy a plan of Swiss chard you never have to buy it again. I love your fruit trees I never heard anybody has a sour cherry tree, very European style of fruit tree also called Morello cherry. Be careful with brownhead worms very destructive, especially peach nectarine and Cherry trees are very vulnerable of them insect. I just lost a cherry tree the ones completely destroyed the cambium layers it is just so sad when you taking care some of the trees for five six seven years, they also call it cherry and peach tree borer.

  3. Once again another great video. I don't have a large space to do gardening, just a small patio. But I learned so much from James. I think the best thing about this channel, not just the gardening information, but his positivity and his outlook on life. I work in a very highly stressful job and I always considered James and tuck my life coach. His attitude and his videos calm me down and make me feel like a better person. Thank you for your positivity and your energy.

  4. Thanks, James, for always being so encouraging in your videos and for sharing the lessons you’ve learned as well as your successes in the garden! Tuck is definitely a blessing, as well. What a good boy. He is the true Guardian of the Garden! 🙂

  5. So happy to see your food forest in bloom and Tuck’s first harvest ☺️

What do you plant around your asparagus if anything? Any companion planting advice aside from tomatoes?
