I bought Juliet tomato plants at the local nursery on 503.
Your motivating me!!! Course Minnesota is a bit later… but still trying new stuff after 58 years… love your randomness…I myself am trying to put right thing next to right thing…I drive myself crazy!! Lol It gets too overwhelming and remembering when to add succession plantings…oye!
The empty cells were supposed to support the seedlings, I believe. I recently received starts from Azure that fell over. They would probably want to they need to improve their packing.
Girl, I only wish I had your energy! Your garden is getting there and it’s beautiful! I too love to garden and be outdoors! The chickens were so cute too! I never thought to crack and egg for the tomatoes! I have used egg shells and banana peels though!
I appreciate you. thank you.
I kept listening to hear if you planned the Heirloom "Cherokke Purple"… it's not pretty, but the best tasting tomato…and besides it's not hybrid. I keep seeds from it, wash in a sieve, dry on paper towels & freeze in an envelope for the next year.
You could put more ginger in the planter box .. you could put 5-6 pieces in..and the pot with the one piece u could put 2-3 depending on the sizzle of the ginger
If you put some honey on the end of your cuttings it helps to root better.
I love every one of your videos. Thanks for doing so much for us. You inspired me to plant three tomato plants this year. I put them in pots with cages. I already have about five little green tomatoes started.
Hi,enjoy your videos! Love your mama too! You both really work your _ off cooking for your families! Love the way your mom does all the recipes and the timing schedules.Take care, God bless you all!
Becky, URGENT, PLEASE DONT WEAR WIRELESS EAR BUDS. IT CAUSES CANCER. PLEASE GET EAR BUDS WITH WIRES.
You are too precious to loose.
God bless you and your family abundantly
Ps Becky, I planted the 42 tomatoes in pots and I got tomatoes fast while waiting for my other tomatoes. I love how you plant different varieties for succession you can do that with your tomatoes. Also the 42 tomatoes stay a small size perfect for pots
So much planting!! You are amazing!! Question- how do you keep critters like rabbits from eating all these beauties??
Are you aware of what the benefit of the egg is for your tomatoes? It's more the calcium in the shell (although the egg contents are good too). The calcium is great for preventing blossom end rot on the fruit.
you are motivating us too! You're gonna have an amazing harvest 🙂
I was finally able to find Comfrey through Azure, and they've survived our over-dry, Montana winter! Maybe I need to check their remaining plant selection!
Becky, you may have alreqdy done a video in the past but if not could you give us a tour of your place it is so beautiful. I am so in love with your kitchen and pantry. Was it remodeled or ? Would love to know more about it. That is a cooks dream kitchen as you well know especially for canning. I always wanted a seperate area for canning etc but your kitchen is so so functional. Love the videos!!
Turmeric roots are also similar to ginger roots but turmeric plants have bigger leaves. I think planting them in the ground is a better option.
We have planted Tumeric and ginger in those long green pots and they do great.
Turmeric is a staple in our curries and we had a big shortage in 2022 and many households started growing their own.

You accomplished SO much today, Becky!!! Way to go! Your garden is coming along. Can't wait to see everything growing and in full swing! You're like the Energizer bunny. Your energy is non stop!
How do you keep track of everything you need to do in your garden? Like how do you remember when to plant and when to harvest? It must get complicated.
Speaking of red, They have done some research on mulch colors and red mulch produces about %20 (if I recall correctly)more tomatoes than brown.
Sausage tomatoes are great for making your own ketchup and sauces.
Take a deep breath before your videos… always sounds like you're out of breath…it makes me Start breathing hard. I like your videos tho
Radish seeds germinate more quickly if you soak them in warm water overnight before planting.
