Recipe from JADAM Ultra Low-Cost Organic Farming book: https://en.jadam.kr/
This is something I’ve been doing for the last 2 growing seasons and is a fantastic way of improving the health of the soil and plants by adding native biology to your garden’s soil. This recipe is called JADAM microbial solution and is amazing at encouraging strong plant roots too, so apply it a day or two before transplanting crops.
It is also great to use diluted whenever you’re watering your plants, and if you do it just before rainfall it’ll help take the microbes down into the soil. This stuff will really improve your soil noticeably and is so easy to make!
This was a 10litre version (200 litres diluted) perfect for small gardens, but you can scale this up to 60 litres using the same quantities.

Could you please explain how it‘s working?
sea salt to improve soil and plant health? wtf? Please give an explanation why salt would help.
Did he just smash two raw potatoes with his bare hands? Damn.
Interesting concept. How do you see that it's working? Would you perhaps do a side-by-side trial of various JADAM and KNF inputs, compared to just regular water?
This I have to try! I have been using the fermented nettles for my seedlings and the growth was crazy. That amendment took weeks of the usual development time. The combo of microbes, nutrients and sugar is a real boost!
Thanks for the shorts! Improving my graden skills/knowladge under 1 min, fantastic!
I’ve heard that a lot of Jadam ideas are low-smell. Is this one of them? I’m always wondering what can be done indoors.
Great tip. Thank you!
This was great. On my phone, the title of your short stayed there throughout the whole short, which interfered with being able to read many of your directions. Those that were in the middle or the top were fine, but those down low were covered by the title.
Could use molasses instead of potatoes?
Was that salt or sugar that you added?
I just did this yesterday! JMS is awesome!
Great shorts mate, small concise and straight to the point.
I might try that. Thank you.
Huw, is that you?
Would this be a good use for those shriveled up potatoes that aren't fit to plant at the beginning of the season? Or do you need to start with fresh potatoes?
Please don’t do shorts. I had to watch this 3 times and I still don’t know what the crystallised granules are. Don’t dilute yourself or your channel. I’d rather watch you explain it properly without stupid music. I don’t watch your videos for mindfulness!!
Beautifully shot, very informative, very relaxing and enjoyable to watch. Thanks Huw.
I see Huw, I learn something, I like and comment.
Can I use store bought potatoes or do they have too many chemicals on them?
Please talk about what your doing, as you do in your other videos. Reading and listening was too fast paste.
