VIDEO: I Stay Up Till 4am For THIS (Worth It!!)

We have been working hard and selling lots of flower bouquets down at the farmers market so far this year, but this week we want to sell even more. This is the peak of the Ranunculus production, plus other flowers like Snapdragons, Peonies, and Feverfew are coming online for us. There are so many bouquets this week that we have a chance to break our record for best farmers market ever! This is our 4th year farming, and every year the business has grown, but by next year we need to be profitable, so our sales numbers need to continue to grow to new heights. Will we break our all time farmers market sales record of $1580 by bringing a massive amount of rainbow Ranunculus bouquets, and beautiful $40 arrangements? You have to watch to find out. If you made it this far into the writeup, how about giving a like to our video, it really helps us out!

  1. So cool you guys figured out pretty fast that the general public love bright bouquets. We see a lot of soft pastels all over social media but it’s mostly wedding work! What an awesome outcome this market!

  2. Congratulations! If I had any aspirations of being a flower farmer/seller, I'd so have to credit 'Everything you see here is a total rip off of Serina, from You Can't Eat The Grass!' lol

  3. We’re all rooting for you so when we suggest things it’s because of that. Ever think of painting the roof on the artwork of your fence red because of your name? Also the fabric in your tent at the market? Take advantage of your business name. Maybe a more cheerful and eye catching color of fabric on your tables. Yellow or even white.

  4. I love the dark purple ranunculus… especially in the rainbow bouquets. They offset the pink really well and make the brighter colours pop. I think they’d be missed if they weren’t in those bouquets

  5. That’s fantastic how on track you are with your business forecast… even more so considering that you switched up your business only this year to focus on flowers. Well done

  6. How I wish you are close by so I can have the chance to buy some of those bouquets . We don’t have a farmers market here in Loma Linda, California that does sell produce every weekend especially fresh cut flowers and vegetables, only flea markets or swap meets but you have to travel far.

  7. WOW!!!! How exciting!!! Congrats on that big week of sales. Sooo happy for you guys. Also sooo glad to hear you're getting the help on Fri. ….you guys are working so hard and doing so much. Taking care of yourselves is key. You will burn out. And call me selfish but I want to keep watching you guys!!!! If you're going to need to work as hard as you guys do—-then I think you deserve a quick nap break with your lunch. And the flower stand!!!? AWESOME! Don't know if I'll try ranunculus again or not ..they fried in our flash drought we're having. Also lost most of my lissies. Never heard of a flash drought but that's what we have here in Indiana. Weird. Flower love to you guys!!!! Hope the help goes well.

  8. Beautiful Ranunculus! The flowers are huge! What variety of Ranunculus do you grow? I tried Amandine and the flowers were tiny even with the biggest corn size.

  9. I'm so excited for you! I wish I could say how well things are going here, but sadly, they aren't. I suspect it's the market I'm at – Friday night 5pm – 9pm and triple digits temperature. It was supposed to be a Farmer's Market and it's changed to a craft market that is not very well attended. I'll have to look for a morning market somewhere! Meanwhile, I love the idea of putting the anemones with the ranunculus. Get some sleep so you don't burn out.

  10. My husband and I want to be flower farmers someday and we love your transparency. Thank you for being so honest. We are beyond happy for you two! Congrats on the success! Keep up the good work!
