  1. I’m growing cut flowers got the first time and I’m blown away by the lushness and abundance of your beautiful flowers. I have so many questions but I’ll start with only one, Did you direct sow your rudbekia in the fall and also is this it’s first year?

  2. You can get the giant carnations out of those my grandma was a florist in Northern Washington and if you take the time to pull the side buds early you will get one giant flower out of a stem. Yours are beautiful and it is a silly amount of work to get a larger carnation my grandma used my mom and her brother to get more bang for her buck doing the tedious stuff.

  3. Amaranth are flowers! Even better, they come in all varieties and colors, from giant red heads to long, draping green ones to small seed heads all over the stems to giant light green leaves to multi-colored leaves. And you can eat all the stages of the plants!

  4. Hello. I have never written to any utube group I follow. But I thought about your family all day and with love wanted to show you the respect I feel of your ambitions as for this earth and each other. Your dedication ,progress, obvious partnering and sincere love the red roof family has brought me hours of enjoyment. You are at the top of all my playlists. Thank you for the joy you bring. Much love and hugs from a Northern California family. We live on the Russian River an area better known for grape production. I live on a mount top with redwood trees lining the mile long drive to my property. I have such enjoyment watching such an unusually different ecosystem. Blessings to all at Red Roof family.

  5. Thank you for the lovely flower video.
I live in the UK and love Indian Summer Rudbeckias.
Here it is classified as an annual.
I have over wintered a few in pots, but I don't bother to mulch them.
a few weeks ago, 7 Indian Summers came up in a bed and these are definitely seedlings.
I am so happy and am going to mulch them to try and keep them.
This year I could only buy 1 fully grown plant, and as for plug plants no where to be found.
I would love a bed like yours.
You did say yours made it through a Canadian winter which is much colder than the UK?

  6. I haven't appreciated all flowers as much as I probably should . You have a big variety of oh so beautiful flowers on your farm! They are kind of fascinating to boot!
