I’m trying to get together extra food for our family but was told “we are not hoarding all that junk!”. It scares me.
I do what I can to prep, even though I not in the position to be able to move to the country homestead. The Great Spirit warned few years ago, and I listened.

Busy and behind is NORMAL in the spring and Fall. Honestly, how DID our ancestors DO it? I would be in terrible trouble if I did not have a grocery store to fall back on. And I have been doing this for a while. There are not enough calories in eggs, fruit, and potatos and even if I had enough land to grow grain I would not have the time to plant and harvest it

Lady, you are an inspiration. I am nowhere near you on prepping, but I am trying. I feel like the little engine that could sometimes. Everyday, I try and can at least 4 pint jars. Everyday I try to spend at least 2 hours in my little garden. I try to include my last little one at home with everything. I feel like if nothing else, I am being a good example to her and teaching her what I wish my momma would have taught me. I homeschool and have for 24 years and I certainly wish I would have taught my adult children what I am teaching my youngest. But anyways, God bless you and your family. May He see us through

I live in a town of 2K 40mi N of Phoenix- we have trouble finding ppl to come here to repair AC/etc or even haul away a dead car- and we're willing to pay extra for mileage and gas. Living rural has some drawbacks-
I have a FB page with over 2,000 people who are supposedly 'awake' to what's going on in the world. I'll make an educated assumption based on my experience in the group, which is local and we actually know each other, that (maybe) half a dozen people have stored at least three months of food. They know the deal but watching Netflix and going out to dinner is more important. I'm over it. I'm not going to go to the store for them. It is what it is.

We started getting ready for something before Obama's second term. Trump did give us more time.but we have been getting ready.
Joseph is a excellent example of be prepared for the bad time. You do all you can do to be ready first spiritually, salvation, then you have to be resposable to be ready for bad times like Joseph in the Bible. Everytime that I go to Aldy always buy an extra can to stackup. God always will provide, but we need to be wise with all the blessing that God provide for us.

We have seen 2 bucks and a doe in the last week in our area and we live 1/2 mile from our public school and a mile from town. Our apple trees are packed out this year so I think they are packing on the weight for the winter.

I live on a 1900 farmhouse. Y'all would not be happy here. There is no wifi or internet. It is a road trip to the grocery store. There is no television. There is no dishwasher. It has an old bath tub so taking those showers is out. It is a 320 square foot 4 room farmhouse. It takes work to live out here. It is a road trip to purchase food and supplies. With the winter snow storms, y'all are going to need lots of food. There is no fancy Starbucks out here. Y'all are not going to happy here.
When I am outside, folks stop and ask about living in my house with me.
The deer herds move closer to what they consider safe areas. There is a herd here and they huddle in certain areas on this property.
WELP, I have had 2 wood stoves for 30 year! I went to buy new/replacement stovepipe and I can assure you…without a single solitary doubt. There was exactly (EXACTLY) enough for ONE set up for stovepipe…and I had to dive over and hour to this store to get my replacement stovepipe! Don't believe me…fine, but come Winter you might be cold and very sad. AND that same stovepipe was EXTREMELY expensive, I think over 1k for my supplies people. SMDH-
Time to plant the turnips and my radish and my cabbage…..ttyl.
