Thanks for letting people know about the scammers. A lot of youtubers don't make these kind of warning videos. Very happy that you keep it real with your followers. Also have to watch out for the bit coins scammers.

So far so good. I have had scammers pretending to be other creators, but not from you.
The first time it happened, I shared a lot of personal information and was very embarrassed that I had been fooled. I hate when that happens, but I also hate losing my trust in people even more. This is now becoming so common that I feel like I can’t even answer my phone. I get about 50 spam calls every day. It is very hard to maintain trust and belief in people. Even real people that are friends and neighbors no longer see the value in keeping their word and having integrity. I find myself withdrawing more and more. Ian almost to the point that I prefer animals to people. Animals are more true to themselves which makes it easier to know what to expect from them.
Not a scam, but ticked me off as it is a bit of clickbait. A new possible channel popped up in my YouTube called "Roost and Rescue" and I was miffed
It seems to be running rampant amongst homestead channels

Thank you for the warning and safety info. I participated in the donation for Sunflower Steve. I never received the sunflower seeds. I emailed him but got no response. I don’t feel this was a scam, but am sorely disappointed that I did not receive the seeds. I’m just saying…

Russel Brand has to start almost every one of his videos by telling people about the scammers in the comment section. It's sad and I feel for all of y'all. I hope to start up my own channel one day soon and I'm so happy to have this warning to let me know to check for this kind of activity when I do!
You're not alone. I've seen 4 videos like this from other creators in the last day or so. It's sad that these scam artists are taking money from people that don't know any better.
Yes! There is a lot of it! So many good YTers and their good subscribers and commenters are affected. I feel bad about those who have fallen for it. It's easy to do, because the scammers use the YTers pictures and names! I report, report, report every scammer message I get.
There are scammers for all the YouTubers, I block a lot of them. Makes me so mad that people are trying to take advantage and screw people over! So sad!
Thank you for this video. I didn't get a comment like this on one of your videos, but I did on someone else's video, and I thought it was strange, so I ignored it (but I will report it) and this was very informative and helpful.
I have a fairly new gardening/homesteading channel and I have struggled some with inappropriate spam comments too unfortunately. It’s just sad, because we want everything on our channel to be as family friendly as possible. I try to delete the spam comments as quickly as possible when they pop up. It’s just disappointing that it’s an issue.
I'm glad you posted this because I wasn't sure you were seeing the garbage that was being posted. I knew it wasn't something you appreciate on your video comments. These idiots have nothing better to do & need Tobe barred.
I don't see it often (esp on your channel) but when I do, I report it.
I get the vibe that you are exhausted these days, like you constantly have to do things. Is that true? If so, how do you manage? One of the aspects to farming that frightens me is that it appears to be a 24/7 job, that always needs your work and attention. And i simply don't have that kind of energy.

My daughter recently had someone take over her Instagram. They are trying to charge her $500 for his er own account back and her photos! It is terrible there are people doing this.
