❤️ Infused Jewelweed Oil:
~ Fresh (not dried) as possible
~ 3 cups freshly chopped Jewelweed-all parts
~ 1 cup olive oil
~ Heat together over double boiler for 1 hour
~ Strain into canning jar-place lid and refrigerate
~ This method can be used for poison ivy relief or can then be used into making salve

when you are in the eye of the storm everything is calm and then boom!!! My son shocked me when he sent a picture of carton tomato sauce and not canned sauce he said they are 25 cents for 8 ounces, He asked how many do you need? He said I am getting a case. Finally he is thinking ahead of the week long grocery lists

Thank you Patara! I wish you had a discord channel so I could chat with other like minded preppers. I am in no way religious or spiritual but I am atuned to that little voice in my head. I heard that voice on Christmas day, 2019. It told me that everything was going to change. It told me that this was going to be the last "normal" Christmas that I was going to spend with my family. It wasn't a literal voice, but instead a very specific feeling. Then just a couple months later it happened. I also feel like we are in "the eye of the storm" and know that I should keep my home stocked and get things done. You've honestly helped with motivation.

We went to Sam's Club today in Fort Worth. I was shocked. There were plenty of non-food items, but the food was either half-stocked or so overpriced it was being ignored! Meat prices were several dollars a pound higher. We have a freezer of meat and have pledged to only buy sale items for now. We were able to buy roasts for $5 per pound, some pork steaks for only $2 per pound. Chicken breasts were $3 per pound on the bone. The dairy 'room' was half full, no eggs. Butter was $15 for 4 pounds. But all of it was pretty scarce. It is worse than I have seen it thus far. Yes, I am on high alert.
The past two weeks I feel like I’ve been on a total binge. Eating food that I don’t normally eat, this is very much my behavior when storms are coming. We live in Oklahoma and when the weather has the possibility of a tornado coming I find myself doing this. Also what I call “storm cleaning” I have been doing that as well, deep cleaning and organizing.
