VIDEO: Farming With A Little Help From Our Friends

We have been so busy selling flower bouquets from our roadside stand and farmers market, that we are falling behind on some tasks. So this week we are getting some help from our friends to check some projects off of the to do list. Our roadside stand is getting a small deck built out front, to increase merchandising space, and help keep the dust out of the interior area. Our shipping containers are getting a roof with lighting and electrical plug ins, so that we can finally start utilizing that space for parking all our small engines. We also made some progress on our dried flower bouquets, as another friend came and helped up get a bunch made and stored away to sell later in the season. The week doesn’t just stop with some projects though, we still need to get the flowers off to the market, and this week the bouquets are so colorful and beautiful, it really makes for an amazing display. The question remains though, will the farmers market customers be there to buy the bouquets, or will the maximum amount of competition lead to low sales? You need to watch to find out! And as always, if you enjoy our content, make sure to like and leave a comment, it actually helps us out a lot, and a few more help to really get our content out to those who want to see it!

  1. This channel is going to singlehandedly ruin the need for more cowbell, as music producers start calling for more pruning snips. I envision professional musicians coming into studio sessions with an armful of greenery and a custom case filled with their instruments. 'Hey man. You know what this song needs?… I'm gonna switch from the Fiskars to the Felcos. Check it out. 1, 2, 3, 4…'

  2. Only half way through the video but felt the need to pause and comment on how beautifully the wind was moving through the grass Serena was harvesting! So majestic! And the Lisianthus are just so gorgeous!

  3. Gorgeous bouquets! Every week I think they can't be topped by the late summer blooms, and you do it again and again. Question: Why don't you sell empty fruit jars or thrift-shop florists vases for your customers?

  4. curious what you think abt putting in a dutch door at the road side stand; keeping the bottom half closed would cut down on the dirt/dust blowing in while leaving the top half open would still keep the welcoming vibe.
