  1. Chain selection: pitch, guage, drivelinks matched to bar and sprocket.
    Go full chisel, not semi.
With experience – don't use safety chain.
Sharpen with a 2 & 1 for beginners. Square file with a double bevel file for the pro's. (Use narrow kerf, lo pro for speed)
Watch the tip, don't cut dirt, and use your dogs.
Check wood coming out for chain quality. Dust = dull/high rakers/out of adjustment. Strips or chips = good to go.

There ya go, saved ya an hour. Goodday

  2. You can use smaller files on bigger chains, just not the other way around. Go get a 2&1 file and learn that first. Then get a double bevel and square file for that 20% faster cutting. Square grind does not kickback more. False.

This guy is turning simple into overly complicated. Honestly, I can't believe someone didn't edit this down to 10 minutes. Or not publish it all together. Gonna have to unsubscribe. Sorry guys, your wasting people's time. Half of the "info" in this is trash. Sad.
