Keep History alive! Watch The Overmountain Victory Trail Association recreate the historic march to Kings Mountain. Every September 25th, marchers cross the Watauga River at Sycamore Shoals, just as the Overmountain militia did in 1780! Enjoy! 🧡

My dear Patara. Thank you for making this video. This is what I love. The history and re-enactments. It’s really brought to life. Thank you so very much for sharing this. Please do more. God Bless you❤️
Excellent! Thank you and God Bless!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing! And love your pioneer dress and reenactment!
Congrats on 400,000!
Thank you so much for sharing this bit of history ❤️
I love that you do this! My girlfriend and I do Civil War reenacting. We educate on the medicinal uses of herbs during the time period, as well as what those on the home front did to survive while the men were off to war. We are usually in PA, NY, and Ohio. Next month we will be a little closer to your direction, we will be near Middletown, in the mountains of VA, participating in reenactment of the Battle of Cedar Creek.
Thanks for all you do.

My husband had a great great that was born, raised her family and died in the same house. She lived in 2 states, 2 counties and 2 countries without ever moving. The Civil War was odd for her. She remembered Union soldiers sleeping in the front yard. She had no idea how old she was. She lived in West Virginia at the end of her life. In the house she was born in.
Thank you for taking us along, what fun !!!

May have no idea the price they paid for our freedom and rights, it looks like fun but I dont think it was for the settlers
I'm not too far from King mountain
Thank you so much for this history lesson. I loved listening to that man speak about our brave ancestors. I hope we can keep that fighting spirit alive.
As the elites always say about about those that stand against them… those bands of deplorables! Never underestimate their determination to be free.
My Great Grandfather Capt. John Starnes was on that hillside that day. I’m so proud of all of them.
This is what our children should be taught. Amazing
Get Books. Every Library has been having massive dumps of hard copies of ..almost all.
