  1. Mark, I am also in 6b. Why would you think this frost is "bazar" ? Today is October 9. Our average first frost date is October 6 — Ray Delbury Sussex County NJ

  2. I’m in Texas zone 8a and my gardening location has had over 90 consecutive days no rain and temperatures above 100. We finally got rain and cooler weather and are now a month in to no rain again. I can’t seem to keep a tree or plant alive. I’m loosing the large native oak trees at a alarming rate.

  3. We are in zone 7 in NJ and I believe somewhere nouth East of your location. We haven't had frost so far but it is rather cool for us so soon. We planted a mixed cover crop in late Sep. It's just beginning to show substantial growth 1/4" or so.

  4. We had a light frost overnight here in SE PA. Doesn't look like it did any damage to the garden. I did cover a few beds but can't cover everything.

  5. Finally down to 68 degrees the other Morning.

Last couple of years been decent Rains most of the summer. Average high around 105 instead of 116 with hot wind. Middle of Arizona

  6. Eastern Mo, no frost, but definitely too cold for this time of year, waking up to high 40's is abnormal with the highs in low 60's. Tomorrow starts out in the upper 40's and is suppose to reach 80, welcome to the new world of climate change.
