I’ve got a large plate of Minnesota Midget seeds drying as I watch this. Thanks Patara!!
I had a horrible bean year but I saved all I could for next year.
Thanks a lot Patara. Such great advice! Hugs
Thank you so much for this video! Very informative! I appreciate it & you!
Nights are now in the 30s here in Northern Arizona. This morning I cut down our chive plants and will be drying them for winter use. Love seeing the animals and flowers.
I grow the Zahara Starlight Rose and the yellow ones. I need to find those red ones…. beautiful. I love the size. They work great in the front on the bed and I don't have trouble with mildew on those like the rest of my zinnias.
Thanks for the seed tips♥️
Want some snow???????
Patara, don’t the zinnias have a rather large flat seed?
My cone flowers, Echinacea, has really tiny seeds in the middle of the flower head.
I find most of my zinnia seeds around the outside of the seed head. The ends of the first row of flower petals.
I love hearing those turkeys
I have eight pumpkin vines and only one pumpkin. Counting my blessings.
Great video
Could you show us when you grind your crn please. I think it would be interesting. Thank you
We are in northern Canada and winter comes fast, before our corn can dry on the stock. We have to bring ours in pull the husks back and hand them up inside to finish drying. Our beans, and peas have time to dry on the stems. All our squash we scrape out the insides and lay the seeds on a plate to dry and your right they will stick so you do have to move them around.
Great video. Keep up the good work. Mrs. G
Thank you for this very informative video. I have a small space garden and am just getting started. I live in the desert in southern California so the growing season lasts a bit longer. The intense heat has finally left us. Hopefully I can get some tomatoes and peppers if for nothing else, their seeds!
Can anyone suggest a reputable seed company to order for next year.?
I picked the ones I wanted to dry. Is that still viable? Beans and okra that is
Can you eat the blooms from the pumpkin
I have seed to seed book from your recommendation. Teaching my teen how to grow & seed save as part of her homeschooling. We don’t have a farm or homestead. We grow small amounts in buckets on our deck & our tiny little garden along side of our house as well as hydroponic gardens indoors. So important to know these things. Thanks for the video & all you do❤️.
Love your videos, thank you for making them. How do you know if the seeds you buy originally will produce a plant that has seeds for the next year that will produce the actual vegetable or fruit and not just the plant? I have heard that sometimes seeds you get will only produce one time because they have been bio engineered that way (like if you bought a vegetable from the store so that you can’t seed save from them).
Do you have tickets for tomorrow game?
I love that you honor your heritage and credit your elders for the knowledge and customs they passed on to you and so appreciate all that you generously continue to share with us. Thank you, so much, Patera. ♥
Saving them seeds.
Those are the most beautiful pumpkins I’ve ever seen.
