The mistral anemones 100% sprouted for me in like 6 days, in 50/50 vermiculite and peat, they're very easy to grow. I planted in garden as soon as I got roots and the green leaves came up a few days later. All very rewarding. Yellow ranunculus is the hardest for me to grow, they keep going moldy.
I want to learn how to speak
With the peaonies. You say it will be hard not to let them bloom. Does that mean you will actually remove stems prematurely? I thought it was that you just shouldn’t harvest the flowers?
I get so excited watching your videos when you talk about flowers. Yes, is good that you grow flowers that others don't grow. You inspired me to grow flowers I haven't tried in my garden. Yes, take a good vacation and rest as you deserve it. Can't wait till spring when you plants are doing great.
Serina, this is such a nice present you made yourself, forgetting what you have ordered! I had a big smile on my face the hole video. And by the way: The colour of the yellow peonies… gorgious! Maybe you can let one plant produce one single flower so we can see the colours… ? See… you made me very impatient and excited for your new flowers ;-). The video worked…
Can't wait for planting to start!!!
We can't wait either!
Beautiful. Do lilacs grow in your zone? Next to peonies, lilacs are another favorite of mine.
Ranunculus were my first flower when my parents gave me my first window box. My last house, I had ranunculus that came back every year. I lost them when I loved – I did bring some over but they did not do well in my current climate.
Instead, I have my freesias that I brought from my last house – they are still going strong, making bigger patches each year. All your flowers look beautiful.
Just WOW! I can hardly wait for spring to see your wonderful bouquets come to life! Have an amazing vacation!
"… AND I HATE THE GRASS". LMAO.
Those peony tubers from Unicorn Blooms are MONSTERS- wow! Jealous!
Thank you for sharing all the details so that we can learn too. I’m in a completely different zone, south GA, 8b, but I learn so much from you that I can use on my tiny flower farm. I love your channel!
Your enthusiasm about ranunculus is infectious!
Does your husband Ian know about your ugly boyfriend?
Being in Florida, I can’t grow your flowers/bulbs but I get so enthused with your excitement. Looking forward to Spring and all the beautiful “pretties”.
Your excitement alone has me waiting at the roadside stand until next spring.
Espero un día poder disfrutar un video de ustedes en español con esos cursos, saludos y bendiciones desde México
I recently got some Italian anemones I've been looking to grow them for a while but this spring will be my first time trying 🙂 Im in zone 3b so its going to be interesting xD
Wow! Loved this video, cant wait to see how all your new picks turn out! Thanks for sharing! :}
I love the new flowers you ordered!! The soft blue and the Tigre anemones stand out to me. oh and the orange anemones are total knockouts!! So happy for you and thank you for sharing the joy in the video, it just makes my day. Good luck with getting them in the ground. You deserve a great vacation!
That was a great video!
y'all are like THE ranunculus guys now
Last year you were able to re-grow some ranunculus roots. Will you try that again?
