  1. Love getting in the kitchen with my sisters and cooking a big holiday meal. We don’t get to do it much anymore, with everyone in different states.
What a joy to watch you and mom prep for tomorrow, during the breaks I took while baking our pies, dinner rolls, making cranberry jelly sauce and green bean casserole.
Happy Thanksgiving Becky, Josh, Mom & Poppop. ❤

  2. Another great video. I totally enjoy your holiday prep videos. I did a little prep along with you all and decided I'd add mac and cheese and some baked corn/souffle to tomorrow's menu. Growing up my aunt always made baked corn for every holiday and I think I have only made it once in 30 years. It was a favorite dish for me but my immediate family aren't fans. We moved across the country and this will be the first Thanksgiving with just three of us. A couple of new recipes will help make it more festive for us and more leftovers! I won't be cooking again till next week. I am also adding your cranberry salsa, that just might be a regular thing from now on.

  3. Becky I use Shawnee Mills white corn bread mix and I toast my on white bread to make my dressing. I also use sage sausage in my dressing. I don’t like sweet corn bread for my stuffing. You should try it you would love it.

  4. Thanks Becky and Becky's Mom for keeping me company as I prep for Thanksgiving. I was not supposed to be doing the entire meal myself but sick kids changed up our plans. I'm parbaking my dinner rolls now and then it's off to bed!

  5. I like watching you and your mom cook together. You may consider putting some Red Wine Vinegar when using Olive Oil and Honey on the Roasted Vegetables.

  6. Becky watching you make dressing. Oh girl I'm from Oklahoma but lived here in Washington since 6 yrs my family wouldn't sit down if my Mom's aka Mimi (she cooks every day at 82 and trys new recipes all the time for Wednesday weekly dinner for my brother/&wife, but isn't cooking big holidays anymore) cornbread dressing isn't on the table. Lol Recipe as follows: Cornbread recipe from side of cornmeal box I double it , 1 pan in large cast iron skillet( I have same as yours)half loaf broken up white bread, turkey broth and drippings from same,6-7 eggs, celery, onion, Whole milk, sage ,salt , pepper, 1 can cream of celery soup. This makes a very large pan size aluminium one or roasting pan. It is very very wet, not soupy. Bake at 350-375 for 1 hour or so we stir half way through. Yum. Please try a small pan with even a baked chicken for dinner sometime it's very addictive left over after Thanksgiving on turkey sandwich or a spoon and bowl will do fine
Lol God bless your Mom for helping and teaching along side you today. I have the same attachment.for my KitchenAid mixer and love grating my cheese and carrots for cakes etc. . Have a blessed Thanksgiving day with Josh maybe take out Chinese? Glad you had both families meals and Friendsgiving too. Lots of new ideas for sides etc. Baby watch on Instagrams hopeful someone will at least post you delivered safely and all is well for us your faithful subscriber fan base. Lol

  7. Thank you so much for sharing your Thanksgiving shop and prep…I loved it all; clearly done from a place of love.! So very heartwarming! Brings on memories of being in the kitchen with my mom (I'm the grandma now). Have a beautiful holiday with your family. An idea for your candles…make some cute labels on your printer. They would add a nice touch.

  8. It all looks great!Your green beans are way better than using canned in fact i am gonna make those tomorrow, they look so good!
Gonna make that mac n cheese another day!Looks so good and gooey!
