I was told to read their mission statement. but lol it is not up on their page right now.
Apparently TSC did sponsor this event. Their CEO has defended it stating they were told it was a "family friendly " event. Take a look at their mission statement on the website. They've bought into the ESG crap. I spend on average about $2400 a year at TSC, but that's going to change as I start dealing with more local farm supply dealers.
If you go to their homepage, at the bottom of the page you will see "sponsorship" and you can click on that to see what they say are the organizations they sponsor and support. It could be that the banner was there for a prior unrelated event and someone just grabbed it and hung it with the others without checking. Or the local manager of that store supported this kind of function. As you said, you can call and find out but from what they put on their public homepage, it doesn't say that they support that. I agree though, anymore if I see any site saying that they support certain social or ethical causes, I take a moment to see what their latest information is about who they support and then if it's something I don't agree with, I don't buy from them. Will be interesting to see what some of your viewers find out when they call.
