I had mastitis once when breastfeeding my youngest and it was so painful. I feel for your sweet Belle.
Been a small dairy farmer for 50 years, still milking a small herd on pasture here in Ohio, any questions please ask, i have seen alot of things in my time with dairy cows and LOVE UM!!!!!!!!!! I have had a few where we may loose the quarter but have saved the cow. Most do well as 3 quarter cows and go on to live long wonderful life's. I have a X-BRED Jersey that is going on 11 years old and has been a 3 quartered cow now for 3 years. I like the way YOU roll!!!!! Kevin and Mia!!
