Wonder if this is why Brussel sprouts are so much sweeter this time of year. I live in Nova Scotia, it’s been cold .. as low as -6 Celsius (21F) ..no snow yet. I pulled a stock last weekend, (just warmer to pull then pluck off sprouts inside )and wow.. some of the best so far this season
