Container Gardening Made Easy! A lot of our backyard veggie crops are versatile and can be grown both in beds and in smaller containers. A select few however, really excel in container setups which is something we can use to our advantage!

So glad green onions made the list! They are such an easy crop to grow, maintain, and harvest. I started with planting store bought green onions directly into soil in a planter pot, they do really well! Cheers from the Thompson-Nicola region!

Thanks for the list Jeff. I'm going to be growing strawberries in a Green Stalk. I just assumed in Minnesota they would die over the winter without being dug up and buried. What do you think?
Hi Jeff. Thank you for this. I'm happy you mentioned depth. Depth is my stumble. Most seed packets, let you know. My next dilemma is on fertilizers, the numbers. I understand their in part numbers. But I am not sure which I'm supposed to use for which veggis/ fruit. I'm sure I'll come across your video on the subject. And I was wondering what about bone meal and blood meal? Like which plant benefits. I have purchased it. But I'm not sure wh9ch . Oh, never mind, I just have to figure this out. . Nitrogen, prosphate, and something else, but I have to figure out which plants thrive on it. I'm a little wound up today. I'm not sure if I'm cut out for growing food. I guess I never realized how much knowledge is needed. I really appreciate you. You're just so damn smart. I'm not even sure if I'm making sense. Since my heart .
2 or 3 weeks ago. I get antsy and overwhelmed at simple things. I am hoping my memory improves and this hyper stage goes away. The doctor claims, " you may have some improvement, Donna." If so, I won't have to pester you. And figure things out. I guess it's

When doing container strawberries how do you winterize the outside of the pot? Would it be bad to use fabric pots?

I have been watching your videos for a while now and I haven't commented yet, I struggle to find the words to thank you enough. I have learned so much for my garden from you and that's amazing.
However, an even greater impact you had was on my mental health. Your attitude and wholesomeness helped me through immense struggles I've been having, it didn't solve the problems since only myself and my close friends and family can do that, but you are pretty close up there. My garlic removes few leaves then it dies
Thanks for your help with gardening! Going to be moving maybe within the year and plan to take transplants. Getting started in containers now would really be a good thing. I grow some in containers now but so much more can be done. Like blueberries, i have one from last year and one I just got, so I plan on keeping in containers. pH is a concern as i pot up and maintain. Thanks!
