VIDEO: Saying good bye

Our best friend has come to the end and we must say goodbye. Arthritis has been a problem but now he has developed growths that are increasing and spreading so fast there is nothing we can do. He hasn’t been able to eat well for several days and the growths have now spread into his mouth. Those outside have now become severely infected. He can’t walk more than 10 feet without falling down and it is time to say goodbye.

  1. Wow these are incredible stories! What a fine dog Hootch was…may he rest in peace and without suffering. Sorry for your loss…sincerely….I love my dogs like crazy.

  2. Dogs know when they are loved….I guarantee you….My Dusty knows for sure because I see it in her eyes when she looks at me. No doubt in my mind. Rest assured, your dog was content with you and your family I'm sure.

  3. Totally understand…it's a tough time for the family. Nothing but time heals the hearts of those left behind. You'll have a lifetime of memories from him and he was a blessing to your family. The end days are part of the beginning….such is life unfortunately but he apparently had a wonderful home…thats all a good dog is concerned with! My heart goes out to you and your family.

  4. I hope your family is doing well after all this. I am about to cry just listening. The story about your wife is incredible! I am hoping she has recovered from such a trauma………………..Hooch was a member of your family so I am sure this has all been so very hurtful. You have taken him out of his misery and I am sure he grateful. Dogs can feel when someone is not doing well and will be loyal. Much more loyal than people. May he rest in peace.
