VIDEO: Saving Roma Tomato Seeds For Next Year


How To Save Roma Tomato Seeds. Romas are a bit different of a Tomato when it comes to saving their seeds. Far less prolific in terms of seed count, you could need up to 4x as much Roma Tomatoes as a traditional variety to get the same number of seeds.

In this video, I show you from start to finish how you can harvest your own Roma Tomatoes and save the seeds for next year and year’s to come!

Its an easy easy process and I’ll show you how to 1) Collect 2) Ferment and 3) Dry your Tomato seeds for storage…and they’ll last for up to 5 years!

  3. What is your other YouTube channel? I've heard you mention it before and would like to watch it. Also, thank you for this great video on saving Roma seeds. This is my first year gardening and I'm planning on getting as much out of my garden as I can and that includes seeds for next year. Thanks for your great videos!

  4. Excellent video! I did not know about the fermenting of the seeds to breakdown the coating. I will be trying that tomorrow with some of my last harvested batch of cherry tomatoes. Thank you.
