Beneficial insects are great to have in your garden, from Lacewings to Ladybugs, Hover flies to Butterflies each do important jobs for example eradicating pests or pollinating flowers. And in this video I will be giving you the flowers you should grow to attract them but also look nice and a few even can be eaten so you’re not wasting any space which is great for small space gardens!

Nice video. What are the orange flowers to your right when you are crouching near the end of the video
I always enjoy your videos, and I was curious that I did not hear you mention marigolds. I've had fun (& success!) growing several varieties of marigolds in my veggie garden. I always plant nasturtiums, also. Now I must try some of the others you mentioned. Where's the link to that website about plants which attract beneficial insects? Can't find it.
Runner Beans does the trick for me, pollinators can't resist the ruby red flowers. and best of all, it doesn't stop flowering if you keep cropping the beans.
Ok I admit it, I sometimes tune in just for the accent. THERE, I said it.
Great message, Huw!

This is a great reminder video! Many vegetable gardeners forget to plant the "attractors" (flowers) in their gardens. Having the right kind of flowers in and around your garden can substantially increase your success and productivity. Thanks for showing your beautiful flowers.

Thanks for sharing your valuable information. What do you think of nettles and merigolds for the same purpose?.
Great video! Incorporating more flowers into the vegetable garden is something I want to do. Your flowers look great!
