VIDEO: Attracting Beneficial Insects using Flower Borders


Beneficial insects are great to have in your garden, from Lacewings to Ladybugs, Hover flies to Butterflies each do important jobs for example eradicating pests or pollinating flowers. And in this video I will be giving you the flowers you should grow to attract them but also look nice and a few even can be eaten so you’re not wasting any space which is great for small space gardens!

I always enjoy your videos, and I was curious that I did not hear you mention marigolds.  I've had fun (& success!) growing several varieties of marigolds in my veggie garden.  I always plant nasturtiums, also.  Now I must try some of the others you mentioned.  Where's the link to that website about plants which attract beneficial insects?  Can't find it.

  2. Runner Beans does the trick for me, pollinators can't resist the ruby red flowers. and best of all, it doesn't stop flowering if you keep cropping the beans.
