VIDEO: Fast Walk Around Fruit Vegetable Gardens

Here’s a fast paced walk around our property showing some of the fruit and vegetables we are growing. Self-sufficiency is more than a hobby it’s a lifestyle and no matter where you live or what size property you have there’s always a way to adapt it into your own bit of self-sufficient paradise (whatever that means to you). Our homestead is not just where we produce a heap of our own organic food it’s also our refuge for when we want to relax and retreat from the fast paced madness the world has become. I’m a self-taught gardener and urban farmer/backyard farmer that has learnt and is still learning mostly through trial and error. I don’t claim to be a professional at growing food or keeping animals but I do enjoy it and I love sharing what I do. Thanks for your ongoing support to my channel!

  1. Brand new to your channel … subbed love your lifestyle and content .. how much land have u done this on ? hard to tell if its an acre or 5 with the camera lens

  2. what is the name of the perennial capsicum trying to get something like it here for my place, i am in Cabarita Beach on the Southern Gold Coast and i have the same problem with fruit fly.

  3. Lovely! Can't understand why anyone would give this video a thumbs down, much less 7 of them! Guess it's the water thing. What is the material you're using on the top of your tomato cages? Looks like some sort of rubber?

  4. What a great video to watch on cloudy typical cool New England day. Converting an exsisting garden area in the front of the house to a raised bed this spring with my daughter Jessica and her boyfriend Chris. It will be named The New Garden.
I have other plots that need help so I'll be there watching your videos for a long time.

  5. Mark I love your videos. They have been very helpful to me. I have just started growing my own fruit and vegetables. I live in the U.S. and I know I can’t grow all the things you grow, but your videos have inspired me to try. I hope you keep making videos. Thank you.

  6. Hi Mark. I noticed you grow a ton of exotic fruits, but I didn't see any coconuts. I know it's considered to be a super fruit, so how is it that you don't have any?

  7. Mark do you grow this food for show, or do you eat any of it seems all your trees and vegetable plants are loaded great vid I just came across it

  8. Could you do a video on the lemon grass. Plant and care for it and how to use it in cooking. Love your channel. Please keep it up. Your about the only garden channel watch regularly.
