Here’s a fast paced walk around our property showing some of the fruit and vegetables we are growing. Self-sufficiency is more than a hobby it’s a lifestyle and no matter where you live or what size property you have there’s always a way to adapt it into your own bit of self-sufficient paradise (whatever that means to you). Our homestead is not just where we produce a heap of our own organic food it’s also our refuge for when we want to relax and retreat from the fast paced madness the world has become. I’m a self-taught gardener and urban farmer/backyard farmer that has learnt and is still learning mostly through trial and error.
