Thanks for the info
Love you and your video's Patara! Also the the 2nd and 3rd on the bottom and the 2nd on the top on the right side look like small mangos.
Another thing about city life! Want to but can't!
So sad!
Is it safe for the egg to mark it with a Sharpie? I know you have been doing it, but I would think the chemicals from the ink could bleed through the shell. I'm just curious. Thanks
Nice ! Can't wait !
Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PJ's and bad hair =comfortable but busy! Your valuable information is always appreciated no matter what you're wearing or how your hair looks. Thanks so much!
I was told to mark eggs with pencil only as the inks contain components that could go through the shell and harm the chicks. I’m assuming that is a myth?
Love the crazy chicken lady! I gotta ask, with all the eggs you hatch how to keep them organized so that they don’t breed with their daddy rooster?
That's awesome Lady P !!!!! Can't wait to see them hatch!!!! I need to purchase an Incubator , waiting to build a separate coop/s and decide what breed or breeds to go with!!!!! Thanks for your inspiring videos!!!!!!
I'm excited for your eggs even if they are half breeds! 😉 If 10 chicken eggs fit well in this incubator how many quail eggs do you think would fit? Just curious….. Thank you for sharin', I appreciate it. 🙂
I put smiley faces on mine, that way I am waking them up in the mornings!
So you wait a little while before deciding to incubate the eggs?
Really excited here on our farm , a friend is selling us a pair of Black Copper Marans at a good price. Had wanted to get them before but felt they were a little pricey. It’s amazing how God opens doors for us at just the right time ,even with animals on the farm. Enjoyed the video.
,,,very good,,t,,f,,s,,
love marans! such great birds. Starting to breed my blue marans as well as my lavender orpingtons. 🙂
You aren't turning each egg by hand are you?
good day to you Patara !! it don't get no simpler them X's and O's and if they don't get it , i think they shouldn't be handling egg let alone trying to hatch them !! lol
Patara, do you find that a cuckoo maran can lay as of dark of an egg as the black copper maran? We just added a few CM this year but jyst can not justify yet the price of the BCM' s. Hopefully next year…..
We just bought the magicfly incubator a week ago! Put some barnyard mixes in it and candled them yesterday so far so good!
Marking the eggs…hugs & kisses that made me chuckle. I run a 32 hen egg Brinsea automatic. Great machine have hatched ducks, guineas & hens in it.
I have the same incubator and use happy faces and sad faces lol
I'm learning loads from you!
T.hanks to your videos I am trying incubating and I have one of my hens on a nest with her eggs. You have been such a blessing to me.
