This is an amazing journey
Excellent!!!
hello 87 year old tomato…
You need Gibberellic acid to make seeds wake up……
That's epic man
were you looking for this variety in particular?
very excited. Would love to get seeds eventually if it all works out. Blessings
Luke, was there any other update on the tomato??? Did it go to fruit?
good news.. left a like
Irritating but interesting
I see this is a very old post but I could use some advice , I just tried this with my moms 40 year old seeds .. ugh I hope it works
You sir, are a MORON!!
I know you probably won't see this because I'm just now watching these videos 3 years after the fact, but i just could not stop smiling for the entire video. My garden is full of sprouts thanks in part to the knowledge I've gained from your channel. The joy you take in growing things and your excitement at bringing back a potentially extinct variety is contagious. The world is so full of negativity now and it seems so many people are only interested in tearing each other down, yet you provide a bright spot of hope. I've loved seeing your daughter grow as well… my daughter is about the same age. I respect you and wish you good health and fortune in all your endeavors.
Awesome! On to the next, must know how this plays out.
Have you tried soaking old seeds in mild kelp solution?? I've had good luck doing this.
You talk too much
If it were me I wouldn't be able to speak properly either lol. Its sooo cool! U could be responsible for bringing back that tomato from extinction!!! History in the growing.
tough old plants tomato
I love the way you’ve been going through this and that you are so open about the whole process. I can’t imagine how exciting this must have been for you and Sindy! As for those folks who left because they thought you were leading them on – you know, you put yourself out there and make yourself vulnerable and there will be folks who criticize you but you know and we know you’re honest & sincere. It’s amazing you were able to bring them to fruition.
Growing takes patience
I really wanted some seeds of those looks interesting to taste almost 100 year old tomatoes it takes you back in time
germination and sprout are the same thing xD
Also i think it's better to not put all the seeds in a small place, even if you know that just few will germinate, the mold can become very aggressive to the sprout. How you did it?
Should have used honey as a rooting hormone
Woohoo
