  1. keep in mind this info only applies for your location and type of radish. i'm at over 8,500 ft and grow various sorts of radishes in pots, garden, etc., and they all grow differently.

  2. So here's a question: if you grow the red radish variety like these, the red should stick out of the ground and you'll be able to tell that they're ready to be picked, correct? So you won't need to harvest till you see the red poking out of the ground? Because I can't tell when root vegetables are ready to harvest. Thanks.

  3. Wow just found this after having spent the last year following you,
And must say I'm amazed at what you already had under your wing back then ! Keep up the great work !.

  4. Good video. One thing you could add on what to do with the radish leaves is that they are edible. I use them in soups, stews, stir fries. Others also use them in salads. So rather then tossing them aside or throwing them in the garbage, eat them!

  5. Thanks for the video Huw, I like your style. I've grown radishes that have bolted while my back was turned and they are pretty tough. Have you any tips on how to process them to make them more edible? Roasting, pickling…? Or are they only fit for compost now?
