  1. This was indeed a great video. I've gone back and am watching all your videos from the beginning of the channel. I do have a few of questions though.

I'm presuming, because the weed control is pH related, it will also kill grass and any beneficial plants that might possibly be sprayed? And if that is the case, can you spray (rinse) the plants with fresh water to negate the pH change that takes place?

Third question is related to the vinegar added. If you use household vinegar, do you need it to make up 50% of the total volume instead of 25% shown in the video?

And my last question is since the vinegar and lemon juice do basically the same thing, could you use exclusively vinegar or lemon juice in the DIY mixture?

  2. Your videos are so inspiring. I'm a very new gardener and love learning the real science. Thankyou ever so much. I subscribed today. First ever YouTube subscribe too :))) I make everything myself (kitchen), now using your guidance I can do this in garden. Thankyou. Love your sense of humour too. Thankyou!

Question 1: I have a lemon tree, where I juice the lemons. Residual is the a slush like lemon… the juice I use in cooking. Can I use this slush somewhere in garden. I was told not to put lemons in compost, too acidic. I would juice 100 at a time as I am a lemon-a-holic 🙂 second i zest the skins. So what is left is really the plight. White part.with some odd part skin not zested. Can I use this in garden somewhere?

Question 2: Mulching. Is there any order of best of sources of mulch?. I have a heap of 4 things – brown avocado leaves (they are rather large). Still whole not broken yet — Lawn clipping — weeds using your chop at soil level, mainly buttercup) – cardboard boxes. I don't have newspaper as we read online. I have brown paper from courier packing I could use.

I could buy pea straw bale from farmer locally. I see you use straw then put the the weed mulch or leaf mulch on top. Is this suggested?

I also have heap lemon tree branches and leaves which have aphids big time. I was going to throw them away. Could I use these somewhere in garden

I don't know what is best to use, if there is a best order… are you able to do a mulch option video for beginners like me?

    Thankyou

  3. Thank you for the video and safe weed killer recipe! I have an area with citrus trees and a narrow gravel path between them. The weeds are growing like crazy. Is it ok to spray on the path that is so close to my trees with edible fruit? Just worried the formula will seep in ground and could damage my trees. Thanks, Ann (in N California)
