your gardens are looking great every year—I remember when the garden you are in now was so small—now look at it!!!!!
Great harvest parsnips! Like.
I live vicariously through your garden.
Do you still use trifecta fertilizers in your garden? I bought some but won't be able to use it until next year.R…Nice garden and vids.
Everything looks great. We haven't gotten a big freeze yet but our peppers are going great and I plan to bring some of the ones in pots inside through the winter. I still have one that is going on 3 years old and I just pulled about 3 pounds today.
Wow Luke – that's an awesome harvest. Every one of your videos inspires me in some way. Well done.
Best wishes, Steve.
PS On a personal note – your beard looks awesome too!
Nice harvest!!! We've had nice cool weather here in Houston, no freeze yet. I didn't get to plant a Fall garden due to surgery, but can't wait to get the Spring garden planned.
Double Radish all the way! You've got to make it a meme Luke!
Radishes Yummy !!!
I grow summer vegetables in my garage during the winter and it sounds like at the end of this video that you might be doing the same. Right now, I have tomato seedlings started as well as Egyptian spinach, thai basil etc.
Good storage tip.
The penguin affect……stay close together and most will survive…pepper plants are awesome!
Hi there, it nice that you are still getting harvests. I think you are on to something with the peppers. If you think they will still be going on this time of year you should plant them again in a box formation just to confirm. Now on to the parsnips, how do you prepare them? For some it's time to put the gardens to bed. It's still a great time of year. Thanks for sharing. Janice
Those are big parsnips. The radishes looked pretty sweet too! Have you ever tried boiling the parsnips a bit and after sauté them in butter. Yummy!
Great harvest, Luke! I love the parsnips!
Great ! I luv parsnips especialy in a slow cooker.
It's all so cool! The giant cabbage, the inception radish, the peppers….everything. Great video 🙂
I love harvesting root vegetables because it's always a surprise on how big, small, or goofy looking they are 🙂 Great video as always!
excellent harvest Luke! I love the double radish!
Bake some of those parsnips, they will be so sweet. Good job guys. Hope your leg is getting better.
Hey nice video!Grow pumpkins next year!
Wow! I'm growing a few too for the first time….that's a bountiful harvest!
My parsnips were bigger than normal this year too.
It looks as if your parsnips are WAY too close togeather and that is why so many of them seem to be rather small. I am going to space mine out this year to get larger ones so that I don't waste space in my raised beds.
Luke, clear off the dirt from the top of the parsnips push them down a inch or so and then pull them out, it works for carrots too
This year 2017, was my first fall garden. fall is a really good time to garden and have veggies over wintering in the garden for later harvesting and use. I want to get to gardening year round, this part of Texas makes it fairly easy to do that too.
are the leaves edible?
I came here for parsnips not radishes
