  1. I refuse to give my consent to them doing anything anymore. Keep reading for my prayer to NOT give consent. These are Crimes against humanity! He and many others released “C” – they are getting ready to release another one. They have been talking about it. They are to “letting us know”. They have to get our consent to do anything – so they do it as if it’s some disaster that is random and they simply have “esp” that it’s gonna happen. Then we just say “oh no – that’s gonna happen – how awful – we accept it – or agree with it and they have their consent. No one bothers to say – no – it’s not okay and it’s not gonna happen.

    You know what? I’m saying it now – NO! I do NOT agree nor do I give my consent. The bird flu is not going to happen.

    Let us pray! Dearest Father in Heaven – the evil ones are asking for our consent to release the bird flu, continue with record inflation, there is a bomb threat to NYC on or about April 18, a sacrifice of some sort, the threat of nuclear war, and so many other things. I do not agree with any of those and we do not give our consent. Please stop them and protect your world and your people. Thank you Father for your grace, mercy and protection. We look to you Father for guidance and your strength to make it through these awful days until you set us free from these evil ones. Thank you Father in Jesus name we ask and pray. Amen.

  2. Honest question here. Taking into account the cost of propane to use my stove, the lids, at about a buck each, and jars, and my time, is it really cost effective to can beans? I can but them ( for now at least) cheaper than I can do it myself. It's a good skill to have, but I think saving my canning supplies for things that are more cost effective, while I have the option of buying them at the store. Thoughts, anyone? Am I thinking about this wrong?

  3. If you haven’t gotten canning jars or extra lids NOW is the time. Here in Knoxville, they went up a 1.39/dozen of quart jars at Walmart in less than a week. Right now quarts are 11.97 while other places they are 14.99. I paid 10.58 3 days ago. If you wait they will either be out or even higher.

Everything is so helpful and informative. 🙂 Would ya'll mind helping me with this question: when you put pasta, rice or flour in jars for storage, do you freeze it first to kill bugs? Do you vacuum seal the jars? Do you use oxygen absorbers? Thanks!

  6. I like to use my vac sealer to soak my beans. Speeds up the process quite a bit.

    I only add a quart of dried beans to a half gallon jar and top it off with the water because they swell up a lot. Then I give it a shake now and then, or just set the jar on it's side in a catch pan in case the lid leaks for some reason.

    This way I avoid the beans getting all jammed up and difficult to remove or even breaking the jar.

  7. HELP!!!I MADE A HUGE MISTAKE WHEN CANNING MY TOMATOES LAST SUMMER!!!
    I forgot to add my SALT. I went to get a jar and they look… old. I'm scared to feed them to my family. Any suggestions? From everyone!! I will dump them if I need to. Thank you so much!!

  8. Are you using salt with iodine? I have always used canning salt. It looks like you are just using regular salt. Can you clarify this.

  9. This is perfect timing. I now have my pressure canner and have beans that I want to can. I have read my manual, plus I have a canning 101 book which I have devoured. But I thoroughly appreciate your step by step tutorial. Thank you so much. Beans are soaking…will do in the morning. A'ho

  10. I got 15 pints in my 921 yesterday! Canned all my frozen vegs and made room for more. The day before, I canned 8 pints of pork butt. Next time I'm going boneless. What a pain but it's out of my freezer and on the shelf. I think I'll do some beans now that you showed how easy it is. Thanks, Patara. I'm trying to stay busy like you advise. Blessings!
