  1. Ohhh, 2 years ago I bought 6 packs of seeds from Ferry-Morris seeds, NOT ONE SINGLE THING GREW!! The company offered to replace them but I told them no because by the time you find the seed is bad it is well into the growing season.

  2. No question. They are trying to depopulate the world. Not enough of us have died from the you know what. So now Monkey Pox and blow up and ruin our food plus keep us from growing it. Pure evil. I am disabled in a wheel chair so can’t do a garden, but I sure have food put back as much as possible

  3. I live in the city. I use the black fabric to keep my front yard neat and tidy. Keeps the neighbors and city happy.
I don't put it anywhere near my backyard food garden.

  4. Oh my ! I’ve been growing, canning and dehydrating all my life. I’m now 63 years. My husband hunts so I know we can survive. However, The challenges with growing a garden this year is something I’ve never experienced ! Planted green beans three times, no beans this year. Planted limbs beans three times, almost gave up but they are one of my favorite so, planted again, I finely have limas. Planted burp-less cucumbers three times, gave up. Planted 41 tomatoes all different kinds. Fighting some time of bacterial disease. Have treated, fertilized, and bug treated. Used all organic compost, nothing different than precious years. Bought different brand seed and used previous year saved seeds. Even rotated rows this year. Added irrigation system giving each plant their own water drip. Had several farmers stop by to check out our garden. I’m puzzled along with others. Also planted cosmos and zinnias. Had to replant twice. The other veggies, rattlesnake beans, pickling cucumbers, red, orange, green sweet peppers, Anasazi beans, yellow squash, zucchini, and lemon squash, are thriving! Hope to find neighbors that will sell me some other veggies to preserve. I am so blessed !

Just do something and don’t stop no matter what.

  5. Excellent, Excellent! Love your posts! Doing everything you have mentioned from previous posts. We have a small homestead here in North Eastern Tennessee. I will start learning canning next. Started Raising Quail here for meat and eggs. Already have customers. Blessings from Fruits & Berries Homestead. Wayne

  6. I have said for quite some ti.e that the seeds bought in the stores will begin to have all these issues. Most everything is hybrid that you buy which is not good but it is not surprising to me at all that peoples seeds are not coming up!!

  7. I used the last of my favorite tomatoes seeds,, Tycoon. Usually has a terrible 20% germination rate. All 24 seeds germinated from 3 year old seed just stored in a baggy. God finds a way.

  8. What you said about dead seeds .I am one that got bunches of dead seeds for this year. One was my turkey crawl beans I have been trying to get them to sprout. I have planted 4 times .still a no show .plus my onions I order in bunches .I put out in April there's no bulb starting just a bunch of roots that's all. My tomatoes aren't doing good mostly plants.. and they have been out at end of april waiting to see a tomatoe to form on a plant .I don't understand unless they wasn't good….. just bad luck

  9. I found a one pound bag of black eye peas at a local Asian market. They came up in five days, who knew. It would have cost way too much at the local hardware store for that much seed

  10. Bought and planted heirloom Swiss Chard, lettuce , spinach and zucchini NOTHING sprouted or grew. My pumpkin, squash, beans and snow peas I saved seeds from last year are growing. Weird

  11. That happened to us with basil seeds. Nothing after 3 weeks so we bought more and replanted. But even those didn’t generate as many plants as usual.

  12. I had hoped to can dilly beans this year so instead of just planting my usual Contender bush bean, I also planted some Cherokee Wax and Blue Lake. My Contenders from my own seeds germinated fine, my Cherokee wax was about 50% and I only got 1 Blue Lake. I had to replant my beans and it has gotten so hot already (100+) that I just don't think the production is going to be what I had hoped for! Lots of garden wins too, like tomatoes, okra, and garlic, but I am disappointed!
