This is really cool. It looks like flies are an issue, and you don't want them walking around on your clean milking equipment. You might want to think about a simple screen door to stop them from coming in. Flies seem to always be an issue around cattle!

What a wonderful space and very functionable. As someone who lives on a dairy farm and looking at the similarity in the milk rooms, one suggestion would be is a form of drainage on the floor. When you go to wash and disinfect the floor one thing that needs disposing of is the waste water and that's where the drainage comes in handy. Perhaps the scale that you guys are at at this point in time isn't a factor but when and if you add even one more cow, having the ability to wash everything down with a pressure hose, you would be very thankful for that extra feature.
I thoroughly appreciate and enjoyed hearing Miahas explanation, you can see the joy and happiness bringing this next project into fruition.

My husband watches many of your guys videos with me, but he always enjoys more of the guys perspective (for example, we are fans of Sow The Land, and will watch many of those videos on his own, especially when he is building something lol).

Would a blast freezer help this process? 3:33 Instead of 2 hours it might be reduced to a few minutes. I imagine they are pretty pricey though.
Would it be a big task to install a ceiling fan?
