Love the idea of rotating chickens. But camp with horses and string hot wire for them. It's time e consuming. I made pvc panels that fold Updike an accordion and it's so much easier and faster. I am going to try to make one for my chickens.
So peaceful to watch your shared morning chores. Fascinating to see you move the fencing and "re-home" the cornish cross meat chickens (there's a new word for my vocabulary). Such a different life from our condo living in the city, but always inspiring to watch you since we have our own dreams, and our own chores, and our micro-version of self-sufficiency to always work on, and simply love that you share your progress and your peace and your joy. And I love the rainbow in your hair starting at 15:02!

totaly agreed about "your time" in the mornings and late evenings. There is something magical in early mornings, when the world is still asleep. Its tranquil, peaceful time. Take it all in and take your time with it, savor every second of it.

Today I got word that onions are recalled due to salmonella outbreak…9 lbs I just bought to dehydrate and to cook with…..wasted.
A couple of weeks ago it was something else…..it’s so disheartening……
