i live in holland can i plant in the ground..ground is wet all the time and cold
Thanks for sharing the details. Ginger ginger here you go.
this guy that actually does the growing, has got the right idea and attitude. he is not worried, that someone else might copy his example. whereas with big commercial growers, they wouldn't even give you the time of day, unless there was profit in it for them ? why are they all so paranoid, about people being self sufficient ? that's just petty minded of them. worry more about the bill gates of the world, there the ones that will end up owning your business ? they want it all
The belligerent parcel nearly rock because cereal peroperatively confuse upon a fantastic gondola. mysterious, abstracted help
Love and like about this farmer –
I honestly think they grow on purpose: If I quickly sprout, I wont end up inna tea.
8 or 10 bucks ? $1.25 @ local grocery store. I buy it all the time.
How do you make candied ginger?
Nice clip . Does the roots no give food to the plants like make it easier rather than break it off they look very small the pieces left
For cooks: you may pare any bad spots, don't bother to peal, wash well, and chop 1 inch pieces in the food processor. Freeze in VERY flat ziplock bags. Remove by breaking off portion you want. Use half and half with garlic in stir fry’s. Also try instant ice cream by chopping some really fine, remove from food processor, chop ice, add cream or half and half or nondairy, vanilla, sugar or alternate and ginger to taste. Work fast so ice doesn't melt.Kids love this especially.
what USDA zones are gingers hardy to?
Jeffrey Donovan needs to play Curtis Stone in his biopic.
Thank you. Great information
If you don't pick it and leave it for a long time – like years in a warm climate – will it spread out and cover a large area, or die off?
This was the final push I needed to go plant that sprounting ginger I have in my fruit bowl haha. I have about three months of warm weather still so I guess still worth it? Anyway always fun to experiment 😀
where is his accent from?
This video has me excited about growing Ginger.
Great video, thanks!
The leaves make great FPJ
Also if your into fermented veggies…..ginger leaves mixed with asparagus or green beans.
Amazing.. I came across your video while I plan to plant my finer shoots outside.. brilliant video . Thank you
What month do you plant ginger and turmeric in pnw where we get snow in the winter? Do i plant same time as garlic?
How many months is it from plant in the ground til harvest?
This is what I was looking for. The part that happens once the ginger grows and what to do afterwards with the the new growth. Thanks a bunch!
This is so awesome. Thank you.
Hell yeah.
I eat it raw every day live on it god bless
